Plenty of half-baked stories made it a failed anthology

As the first anthology film in Bangladesh, I had good expectations. But bunch of dull, half-baked segments made it a dreadful watch at times. Probably they wanted to give them a dark & gloomy tone but few of them even had severe lighting problem. JUTHI, DHAKA METRO and Nuhash Humayun's BACKGROUND ARTIST were fine exception though, only found this 3 segments with a complete & compelling storyline with relatable characters.

The actors in "Jibon's Gun" performed terribly. "Sounds Good" was pretty bland. "M for Money/Murder" was boring, seemed to be based around stereotypes & the story wasn't anything new.

The only one worth watching was "Jinnah is Dead" by Krishnendu Chattyapadhay. Wish it were a whole movie of its own.

Well, it's a start.

Not all of the stories are good. But, Dhaka Metro, Juthi and Jinnah is dead are really watchable. You can skip the others.

Censor board!!!

It's just a glimpse of what is happening in this small town everyday. And this movie portrayed the whole scenario of Dhaka city in a very simple yet very complicated way. Now people are saying the story had no endings because there's no end of suffering in this city.
