Pandari bai is the hapless and tasseled mother of 4 boys Karthik , Prabhu SV Sekar and YG Mahendran . They are always up to pranks without any job or responsibility since they belonged to a rich land owner's family .
More than half the movie is about their gluttony , irresponsibility and nonchalance .
She dies trying to redeem them fully heart broken . She wants her brother Thengai Srinivasan's daughter Raja Lakshmi ( of Shankarabharam fame ) to marry one of her sons but he is rich and arrogant . He refuses saying they are worthless .
The boys become more and more difficult to manage after losing their mother .
Silk Smita is a dancer who has come to the village . she is likeable even as a villian .
Karthik goes to town and meets Radha's father Jayshankar on work . They fall in love and get married. The other two brothers too are luckily able to find spouses
One of them is a very young pretty Kiyili . I really like her husky voice .
RajaLakshmi and Prabhu want to get married but her father does not allow that .
A lot of confusion and twists later all becomes well . Its a total family riot .
