Night to Be Gone

I realty did like the movie and how it was filmed. The acting was great as well. But if you have seen "The Hustler" with Paul Neuman and Jackie Gleason, then this is the copy. Same basic story, but they even copied how it was shot. You will recognize those exact scenes, without anyone telling you.

I liked the character dynamics and mystery very much. The best part of the movie was how the characters learn about each other along with you, the audience.

As a pool player you will notice continuity issues with the ball positions like other lower budget pool movies. So, don't let let keep you from enjoying this film.

The rating was based on the lack of originality in script and filming. Still worth a watch for sure. Seeing a black and white film and actually getting the feel of an older movies matter long ago was still as nostalgic and pleasurable.
