The Legend of Lucky Pie

This cartoon stands out from a lot of other indie contemporaries by being a surprisingly sweet and beautiful adventure with an owl, a horse, a mermaid, and even an astronaut. The creativity of this series also know no bounds and it leaves me with my only main critique of the show: there just isn't enough of it! It also appears on the surface to be derogatory of the far more popular adventure time, but it definitely feels like a completely different show when comparing the two. The character design in this show is absolutely incredible too, complimenting the amazing animation too. If you want a fun way to kill an afternoon, watch this show. I promise you won't regret it!

I grew up with adventure time. Yea there's a lot of similarities but it feels like its own thing and I like that. Wish there was more . Mike Inel even put an Easter egg of them in their game which was pretty cool. When going into it don't think of it like adventure time though imagine their own stand alone adventures. Once they get the opportunity I wonder how they would extend the series. You kinda get the same vide from watching bravest warriors or puppy cat and bee. It's nice. It's even got me to chuckle a few times. So far it's only on YouTube but I can see this show coming to Amazon. Hopefully at least.

It's kinda sad to think that not everyone know the difference between these two words. Before I show you the difference, I'd like to tell that this Chinese show was made by Chinese students who didn't had enough money, but through the web they got enough money to produce this animation.

Now, I'll tell the difference between "ripoff" and "Inspiration".

Ripoff is when a movie/series/documentary is BASICALLY the same as another, but with some changes to avoid copyright issues.

Meanwhile, "inspiration" is when something is based on a movie/series/documentary, but the characters and plot are VERY DIFFERENT.

Most people who hate this show just haven't seen it. The story is very good, the characters have very unique styles, and I like to give mass respect for these Chinese animators. Also, calling China a "rip-off land" is considered Xenophobia which is a crime.

The people who don't like this series but haven't seen it are ignorants. Go watch it, it's very cool!
