Below My Expectations!

I watch this movie simply because the original series are my favourite. Apparently, I have put my expectations too high for this one.

The story has too many loopholes. The actors and actresses have passed their prime performances. Mandra is more irritating than looking funny. The jokes are no longer funny. Doel himself is dumber than ever. Simply look stupid as a mature man.

In a nutshell, the entertaining factors from this movie have disappeared. Watch it just for the sake of being nostalgic. That's all.

At the beginning of the movie , there were a voice over of Babe (Doel's Father) taken from a scene of the 1993 original series said "i'm tired of you always bein a driver, i put you into college so you can be an important man., why dont you just become a governor?". In real life, actor Rano Karno who played the title character of si Doel, has been appointed as the Governor of Banten,Indonesia in 2014.
