I thought the movie was really cute. When I heard the filmmakers made it in 2 days, I was very impressed! Kudos to the whole team!

Clever concept, well executed considering time/budget, good twists along the way, and anchored in a good love story that's always fun to watch. The main character is quirky & flawed, which makes him easy to root for. The actress who plays his ex was pretty darn incredible, no doubt we'll be seeing her again in future films. Overall, an inspirational indie sci-fi romance with lots of heart, which makes for a delightful journey through time and true love!
Had a throwback 80s feel to it. and wears it's heart on it's sleeve. Some of the scenes back quite an emotional whallop. And a really clever premise. IT's really a movie about 2nd chances with fun characters.

I didnt know whether I was watching a high school drama club or war prisoners being forced to act but either way I would rather watch grass grow on baron land.

Making Time is an independent film shot in the span of two days. That's pretty obvious given the cheap special effects, strained line reading, and clumsy editing. It's really not a deep or intense story. I almost turned this off at the 10 minute mark, but trudged along as I appreciate a good sci experience.
I probably would not recommend this movie to hardcore time travel movie fanatics, but there were some elements of surprise and laughter during this. The performances were inconsistent and the dialogue is sloppy and over the top, but I'll admit that there's real heart and determination from this main character. I found myself cheering for Nick's dream to come true.

The acting could've been better but the story itself was done very well. I truly enjoyed this movie and it proves you don't always need incredible CGI and million dollar actors to have a great movie.
The worst acting I've ever seen. Lines are delivered as if you are watching a 3rd grade play. Just terrible. So bad I didn't even finish watching the movie - and that is extremely rare for me.
Music is slow and sappy, and doesn't fit the story at all.
The only good thing about this movie is the time travel - time travel movies are always good. Except this one.

The acting is the best part of this low budget indie, to which I credit the director. Character driven plot is ok although the denouement takes too long. Still, pleasant overall, and I hope to see more from the director/stars in the future.
Production was fine and the acting was okay-ish, but the plot was naive and pretty dumb. The main problem, though, is that the lead was such a boor to his wife and she was such a saint that I couldn't root for their relationship. Just painful to get through.
Making Time is a charming indie film with a unique premise. We've seen time travel movies before where people have to not disturb the past so they don't alter the future, but I've never seen one where someone has to get along with their grating ex-wife in order to do so. Kudos to the writer for this great setup.
I also read that this film was made in two days. I'm not entirely sure how you make an entire movie in two days, but you wouldn't know that it was all done so quickly by watching it. It's commendable that the crew was able to make it all so quickly and with good quality considering too.
Make time to watch Making Time. I definitely recommend it.

I'm a sucker for time travel movies and this one caught my eye because of the similar title it shares with "About Time". It's low budget, but a well made movie. It's funny and charming, and a very "Back to the Future" plot to it, so fans of those movies will really dig it!
The movie is only good if you're looking to take the piss with your mates, I've never been so disappointed in my life.

The movie is wholesome for sure. It doesn't bother to put much production value to the time machine. The acting is inconsistent between actors but they were into it you can tell. I feel like the marketing relied so much on filming it within a short period of time that they forgot that it doesn't really matter to the viewer how long they took to record it all. It takes place in very few locations but does not feel repetitive actually. Most sci-fis don't take this angle. It is a new look at relationships in the sci-fi lens. There were some moments of humor but I didn't find myself laughing a lot.
If you could do it all over again... Second chances.. love watching these inspirational films as it spurs me to make sure I live in the moment, appreciate everything I have and don't let life pass me by. Grant Pichla did a great job with the writing and directing in this film - I was drawn into the story. It's a lighthearted inspirational heartfelt film - Hallmark channel style. A good watch if you need a feel good movie.
This sci-fi drama was a pleasantly enjoyable feel-good movie that felt reminiscent of classic time-travelling films, giving it a sense of nostalgia, while also making the viewer feel nostalgic of their own past. The film does a solid job exploring the what-if scenario of second chances, and thoughtfully reflects on the value of how we use our time. The film has some strong dramatic moments which inspired me to get introspective, and gives plenty for the viewer to resonate with.
Making Time is a time-traveling romance that takes the audience on a roller coaster of emotions and plot, allowing the audience to reflect on how they dedicate their lives towards their passions. I was so happy I chose to watch this feel good movie and I have been telling my friends, family, and many others that I cannot recommend this movie more. I truly believe I see my life better after watching this film.

I love time travel film and love romance. This was the perfect movie for me. Loved the performance to the two leads who did a great job. Though story progresses as expected I loved it and all the characters in it. A definite watch from my point of view.

I found this to be a nice science fiction indie movie! I wonder if Shane Carruth's Primer inspired the movie production. Whereas Carruth did everything in one take, Grant Pichla did it in two days? Making Time is a PG affair, lighthearted in its tone and characters, but not necessarily its emotion. The pacing was great, and I always love movies with time travel.

I'm a big fan of Elon Musk so I was hokked from minute one! I enjoyed this time travel indie film. Small budget but great concept! I love this kind of lead character, the mad scientist with a great heart who wants to fix his past mistakes. You really feel for the guy. It remined me of hits such as Flubber or the nutty professor. I kept imagining our dear Robin Williams in in that. The main actor does a great job and truly honour him. The music was amazing! It really works in selling the magical vibe of the film.

Making Time is a really nice indie sci fi romantic drama. Director Grant Pichla did a great job working with his cast and crew. He was sucessful in pulling the best performances out of his actors. Lead actors Mason Heidger & Tori Titmas delivered stellar performances. The idea of going back in time to save your current relationship while not disturbing the future was certainly no easy task. The remaining supportive cast also did a wonderful job. The music, camera work , and editing were all on point.

In a world gone mad, this movie, with it's many flaws, is a breath of fresh air, it is a true feel good movie, and it has some fun sequences after he travels back to the past. I would recommend it to anyone just looking to turn their brain off and enjoy a movie, if they can ignore some flaws here and there.
This movie is very quaint and sweet. Sometimes, it's just nice to watch a movie that isn't filled with heavy handed "biting political commentary", most times, people just want entertainment instead of some divisive political message, and sadly, mainstream films are really missing the forest for the trees on this. I have long turned to low or no-budget movies for most of my entertainment, because the ideas are usually better, they are more creative, despite their often many shortcomings. If I want heavy-handed political messages I can also get it in low-budget films too, but instead of supporting some giant industry that is filled with a lot of corrupt people, I am supporting the individuals working on the movies.
Right from the get-go, I knew it was going to be filled with low-budget pitfalls and I was right. The effects are nonexistent, the time machine looks awfully silly and hokey with sparkly fabric and rope lights to make it look cool, .The acting from the lead is strong, but the acting from most of the other actors is inconsistent, though the worst offenders, thankfully, are in the least and only bookend the film. Yet, it is decently scripted(despite plot holes), adequately shot, good sound, and overall it is a really fun film. It is still fairly fresh in my mind 5 days later because it is a very fun and cute movie. The dialog in a lot of the scenes between the main character and his wife, is excellent, it feels real, there are plenty of other moments such as this as well when he interacts with his friends. The most unrealistic dialog come from the same mediocre actors who bookend the film. The main character is a jerk, and realistically a jerk, the actions those take against feel a lot more justified than most romantic films I've seen, he just comes off as a pretty normal, self-absorbed, clueless guy.
Wrapping the film around the directors home renovations is a very clever idea, and I as I watched it, I was wondering exactly how they were able to make the house be in disrepair and then i read about the film. This movie was clearly made with little money, but it found a clever way to convey the passing of time with a lot of money or locations. When you have little money, you have to come up with things that a big budget film never would. A big budget film would just build a house, or find a house to remodel, not use their own.
I loved this movie, and I believe it's flaws actually bolster it's charm. If you enjoy this film, definitely check out "11 Minutes Ago", the acting isn't as good, but the script is pretty strong, and it is more of an actual time travel film while still being a romantic comedy.

Making Time is a very well-directed Science Fiction, Romantic Comedy. I had so much fun with this. It's filled with lovable characters and some great camera work. It's a great throwback to Back to the Future, even giving a few winks to the audience. I can't recommend this movie enough. Well done!
