In 2020 'Ghost Girl' won Best Web Series at the Lit Scares International Horror Festival.
'Ghost Girl' was the first project created by Moonchild Pictures.
This was the second time Charlotte Sharland, Connor Croucher, Cameron Bran (now Hugo Alexander Huntington) and Regen Rampton have worked together. They first worked on the web series 'Hunter' by Vision Unseen TV.
Filming was completed over 2 months in 2018. Locations are all around Berkshire, notably including South Hill Park, Lily Hill Park and Mill Pond.
Janetta Ivanova, who plays Roxy Moore, also wrote the title song for 'Ghost Girl' that is used in the opening and closing credits. She interviewed writer Charlotte Sharland to find out about the themes and inspiration for the series. The song was recorded at Charlotte's home by Mark Hooper, who also mixed the song together.
