I've seen every Comedy Central Roast and countless other Roasts.
The Roast Of Rich Vos is easily one of the funniest, most viscous, & hilarious roasts I've ever seen!
Anyone with any awareness of the New York comedy scene would appreciate this movie, it's hilarious and you get professional comic writing without the filters you would get if this wasn't produced by comedians/was on tv. Im ranting but it's very funny. ,Anyone with any awareness of the New York comedy scene would appreciate this movie, it's hilarious and you get professional comic writing without the filters you would get if this wasn't produced by comedians/was on tv. I generally love roasts and have a long history starting with the Friars club roasts, especially with Dean Martin. I've always felt the best were brutal, fair and (relatively) clean. Nicky Glaser is not my cup of tea. She wasn't involved with this, but if you're familiar with her style you know what I'm referring to. Well, this was closer to her style, without being funny! So, if you like her, you'll possibly like this mess.
This was brutal alright, but I found most attempts at humor just tasteless. It seems they were self-referencing - incidents where they spent time with another on the dais, but left the audience (at least this one) waiting for a punch line.
