A friend of mine is in the movie. He pitched it to me and I thought to myself 'a feature length movie shot in one day with no script couldn't be any good.' He showed me the trailer and really good and agreed to watch a screener.
This movie is like nothing I have ever seen before. The pacing and the chaos. The mockumentary style really left them open for doing some really creative and fun things. I can't believe how good these actors improvised. So much better than Melissa Mcarthy improve movies.
I really liked Jakes performance I thought it really carried the film with his energy. It does at times make you feel a little anxious when things go out of control for Benny, but it pays off in a great way. My friend was a little turned off by those parts but it worked for me.
The other actors were also amazing. The story line between the father and son he adopted in Africa was hilarious and you really believe they have a true connection.
Criminally under seen. Needs to be on a better platform. I had to get a screener through vimeo because i don't really use iTunes, but it's gonna be on amazon and other platforms too soon my friend said.
All in all a great indie film that I really enjoyed.
9/10.

I enjoyed every minute of this movie! An original mockumentary that will leave you laughing from beginning to end. The cast has such an organic chemistry that just make this film a joy to watch.

What a waist of energy. It's not worth the price of renting or even viewing it for free.

The well scripted dialogue, engaging acting, and music scenes with Chicago the band make this a must see. A rough day for aspiring director Benny Blake makes for an entertaining film for the audience. I particularly enjoyed the comedic one-liners and the never-ending struggle for Blake to get everyone onboard with his vision. This piece is yet another validation of Peter Pardini's place in the film industry!
Peter Pardini is, hands down, one of the best new directors to emerge in quite a while. Still a young man, Pardini is beyond his years. Unlike most of his peers, this guy obviously knows cinema and delivers his original stories with sophistication. I was initially knocked out by his Netflix documentary about the legendary rock group Chicago and am continuously engaged by his work. Rolling Thunder is just one "joint" in a growing filmography. Rolling Thunder is wildly entertaining with moments of bold, laugh-out-loud absurdity. Academy Award winner Wes Studi delivers a must-see soliloquy for the ages.. I can't say enough good things about this director.

An absolutely hilarious film about an up and coming filmmaker. Wes Studi and Joe Mantegna show why they are the huge stars they are. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Roll Over Funny!!
Peter Pardini and Jake Arnbruster team up again, inviting us into this hilariously improvised comedy. You gotta feel for young director Benny Blake, or do we?
So pour some Hennessy (or your fav libation) and prepare to laugh, this movie will Make You Smile!!
