Avis à la une
The plot is ridiculous. The acting is poor and there's lots of action. This movie has the potential to be on a WolfCop or Veloicipastor level, but it falls a bit short. All that said: I'm locked in.
I watched Vixen, and it's about Liu Yang, a security tech company director who gets caught up in a terrifying attack at an international conference. I liked how the movie balanced intense action with Liu Yang's personal struggles, especially her complicated relationship with Peng Yiming. The action scenes were exciting and well-paced. I was genuinely tense during the ventilation shaft sequence and the final fight. What I appreciated most was how Liu Yang isn't some superhero - she makes mistakes and gets scared, which made her feel real. Some of the villains were a bit cliché, and a couple of plot twists were predictable, but overall it was a good time. The ending was satisfying, especially the little scene at the amusement park, which gave a nice sense of closure.
Vixen is a story of empowerment from start to finish. The main character starts in a place where it feels like everything is falling apart, but then she activates her "Buff," and her journey of transformation begins. It's a thrilling ride of determination and strength.
What I really loved about the film is that it doesn't just focus on the physical aspects of the transformation; it also dives into the emotional growth of the character. You see her go from hopeless to fierce, and it's honestly really inspiring.
There's a bit of predictability in some of the moments, but that doesn't take away from the enjoyment. The visuals are stunning, especially during the transformation scenes. If you need a pick-me-up or a reminder to keep going, Vixen will deliver.

Vixen is a total adrenaline rush from start to finish. The movie centers around Liu Yang, an incredibly strong and determined Asian woman who faces not only blatant bias from foreign execs but also a deadly terrorist attack. What I loved most was how Liu stays calm under pressure. She goes from being underestimated to completely owning the situation. Her character development is amazing-she goes from quiet and reserved to a fierce leader. The action sequences are intense, and the cinematography really pulls you into the chaos. My only complaint? The pacing in the beginning feels a little slow, but once things pick up, it's non-stop excitement. This movie is an empowering reminder of how one person can make all the difference in the world.
Vixen gives us a heroine like no other. Liu Yang's resilience is a joy to watch, especially when faced with bias and a terror attack in the middle of a high-stakes conference. It's so refreshing to see a strong female lead who doesn't just rely on physical strength but on her intellect and resolve. The movie captures her inner strength and determination beautifully. The action scenes are thrilling, and you can't help but cheer for her when she turns the tables on the attackers. I did feel like the film could've developed a few of the secondary characters more, but overall, this is a must-watch for anyone looking for a strong, empowering story.
