Twisted Sisters

I went in skeptical about the show. I wanted to hate every detail... truth be told it's not bad!!! The interviews are real people, the re-enactments okay. At least no ones wig is on backwards like another show on the same network. Literally a true crime show had the nerve to show a woman wearing a wig backwards in a station wagon. This show doesn't focus on the experts opinion. The family members are actually telling their stories. Personally, I prefer to hear the story first hand. Not from the boring old expert. This has become a novel.

I have extensive personal knowledge of a case they filmed and then aired. Very little that they aired was the actual truth of the crime, its investigation, the interviews with family/friends. Some of these people were interviewed and filmed for almost ten hours. Yet the show cut and edited the footage to make it tell the story THEY wanted to. At points they cut/pasted some of to make it sound exactly opposite of what was really said. The worst part about it all. These victims, their families, their communities are damaged and tarnished by people wanting to sell a show that they "Make" the episodes and the story sound better for ratings then to tell the truth of what happened. Because of this single show. I have lost a lot of faith in these True-Crime Docu-Series..... START TELLING THE TRUE AND WHOLE STORY OF THESE VICTIMS TO THE WORLD.

I watch True Crime documentaries all day long, 24/7. I mostly watch ID because of the photography and accurate story lines. I especially love how most of the series are done with the actual journalists who worked on the news print in whatever capacity meaning magazine or newspaper... etc. The show Twisted Sisters is so well put together even the music goes right along with the camera work. I'm spell bound with the whole then and now descriptions in the family lineage. I am especially touched with the "Cold as Ice". I don't think I have ever seen another mother put her feelings and her actions so out there for all to see. My heart ached for her during the story and I actually found myself cheering her on as she works through her grief so appropriately. She is the epitome of a Mom involved with her children's lives as she tries to let go. Thanks for this program. I'm waiting for more!!

The worst show, so boring and the people in it suck, sorry try again!

I have watched a lot of true crime in my time, and watched a lot of cheesy made shows and while on the cheese scale it was probably a 5, it did not hurt the stories it told. Everyone always says that it is unbelievable someone would do these kinds of things to their family members, but statistics show it usually is a family member that hurts you the most! This show is the perfect example to bring people into the reality of that, and show them that if they think something is wrong, they should not ignore that feeling!
