This film proves that even with a small budget and limited resources, if given to people who love the Witcher and the work of Mr. Andrzej Sapkowski and CD Projekt RED and are passionate about their project, you can have awesome film. This fan film by it's quality is in my opinion superior to the Netflix adaptation. You can see that all the people care about making a good representation of the world of the Witcher. When you look and the costumes, building's ect. you can say that it looks like you imagine a medieval, fantasy world. It has the right feel. Also the soundtrack is amazing, similar to the Witcher 3 one but unique in it's way. The actors are professionals and preform well. Story is solid, and even was a few Easter eggs of the players of the Witcher games. All around a great example of a fan film done right. I hope the people behind it will continue with their amazing work and in the future will bring us more for the world of the Witcher.

When I heard about Alzur's Legacy, and after watching that horrible Netflix Witcher show, I wasn't expecting a good movie but even at the start of the Alzur's Legacy, I found out that this is something far better than the Netflix version. You can't even compare them. It maybe hard to believe but a fan-made, freely available, low-budget movie can be 1000 times better than a 80 million dollar Netflix show.

I know sword fighting should be better, and a few things like what happened to Dandelion should be more clear but except from that you can't find any technical flaws in the movie.

The best thing I liked about Alzur's Legacy is total Atmosphere of it. It gives you a good feeling. It is created based on medieval European culture and good old CD Projekt Red games.

Acting is good. Story is good. Music is great. VFX is okay. Cinematography is good. Editing is good. Set Design and clothing stuff are excellent. And it's available for Free.

I really enjoyed it and I hope I hear more from them. This team has good potential.

As a fan movie i would rate it as 10/10, but as normal movie something like 6,5/10. I watched it when it first came out on livestream. Actor that plays main character is great, but Zamachowski as Jaskier... He came back to this role after like 17 years and he did great. Story is decent, climate perfect and music (that was made by themselves) was great too. Jokes are nice, they are connecting to games (or even Shrek, only polish can understand that) and books. I can't really remember the villain, but i think it was decent. If netflix would give those people The Witcher to make... That would be a masterpiece. It is really good, go watch this if you didn't yet.

Incredible what a little love and dedication to source material can make. There are some cons to this film, like fight coreography and camera angles but overall this film delivers a much more enjoyable story for a tiny budget than someone who only cares about making money like Netflix. As a huge fan of the Witcher universe this is a lot closer to what I'd like to have seen. The story, the costumes, the characters, the music, the setting and scenes are all miles ahead. I wish this fan group of film makers the best and will be looking out for their future projects. Thank you for adapting one of my favorite stories.

The cast is perfect. The atmosphere, music, humour are totally great. Awesome work from fans to fans. The plot is weak a bit, but to be honest - it is great work for movie made by enthusiasts. I hope there will be a lot of comments here. Definitely worth watching. Hope they continue this saga.
