I've watched so many tv series it my life but i have to say Blanca has so quickly become one of my favourite series ever. Amazing plot, characters and relationships. I laughed, cried and got chills whenever i watched it. I can't wait for season 2. Amazing amazing amazing. Blanca as a character is one of the strongest women i've ever seen on tv. She is a portrait of courage, hopefulness, strength and will. I'm in awe of how she manages though life and still stays a good and hopeful person. I will always admire her. With a murder mystery show like that , humour is always a good addition, and i saw a lot of it. Thank you for this show, it's INCREDIBLE.
Goosebumps! Literal goosebumps! I just finished watching season 2 and I still have goosebumps!
This series is the full package, great storytelling, amazing shots, and compassionate acting. It's full of mysteries that will always surprise you but also make sense. Drama and comedy is well-put throughout the show, not too much, not to less.
It's one of the few rare shows that has a female main character, but is not stereotypically girly at all.
The series concept is sweet but also excites you to the core. I binge watched the whole series and enjoyed every second of it.
I totally recommend watching it and I hope it will be available on more platforms as well.

Well, the employment of blind persons within a police per se is not too uncommon, but their tasks are hardly in the field or participation in chases... The background and circumstances are explained, convincing at first, but as the story develops and bearing in mind the real wrongdoer the reasons begin to feel odd. Several cliches regarding disabilities, superior-subordinate relations and police inattention are present too much, plus the flashbacks explaining the cause of blindness are too protracted and overlapping. 1.5 hours per episode is evidently too long as well.
Yet, the performances are pleasant (Maria Chiara Giannetta, Enzo Paci, above all) and there is a pleasant symbiosis of one episode - one case and the leitmotif, elevated by beautiful Italian views... But as something was missing / not present for me (incl. No real chemistry between Blanca and Michele) and I surmised the wrongdoer too early, I would rate it with 7 points as I could name dozens of meatier Italian police series.

Where I had to give up on this show was when the "blind girl" is gobbing on the makeup preparing for a date. Why did she have to stand in front of the mirror? She's blind. Agreeing with the other reviewer this was a very poor representation of a blind woman. Her seeing eye dog doesn't seem to see anything either--like someone hiding in her house. It's just dumb. Each story is in 2 90 minutes parts. Too darn long with contrived false leads, slow action, grouchy boss, attractive male partner... All the cliches are represented. The only compelling aspect of the show was how her acute hearing was represented visually. It was a cool effect but a device that could have been better used in the story. The location shots of Genoa were gorgeous but the show is too cutesy for me!
It's great to see the city I live in all its glory, good and bad. It's a pity that they couldn't use more actors local to the area and less actors with roman accents. The worst part for me is that the lead actor who plays a blind person isn't in reality blind. If you look closely you can tell by her eye movements. I've tried to ignore it but it's pretty obvious sometimes.
