Funeral killers

It can be better if more effort put in. The story is nice but some are not made properly. Overall it is still good to watch.

In Silent Witnesses, Chen Jia Hao (Nick Cheung), an autopsy assistant, works alongside his assistant. When three masked men storm the scene looking for a body with a bullet that would serve as criminal evidence, a tense chase ensues, with Chen having to fight for his life.

Action movies are always exaggerated and with some flaws, here we have characters and immortals, and with instant recovery and healing, like it must be a little Wolverine, right, hehehe, apart from these small details and some others, we tasted a great movie, action and drama in the right measure you are in the crowd at every scene and when you think it's hopeless, a twist comes, entertain and delight...

Bodies at Rest (2019) is the third Hong-Kong action movie directed by Renny Harlin and in my opinion, it is easily the most grounded movie that Renny Harlin has made in his filmography.

Positives for Bodies at Rest (2019): Out of all the movies that he's directed, this is the only action movie where Renny Harlin's over the top nature is not on display and yet I am okay with that. It was nice to see this guy so something different from his usual bag of tricks. The movie's premise is simple and complex with its execution and while it might seem dumb at first, I found myself being more invested with this plot the longer I was on this journey. I really enjoyed the two lead characters and I grew to care about them throughout the movie. The action sequences are awesome and I love the raw and gritty nature to them. And finally, I love how the movie ends on a quiet and simple note as opposed to a lot of the other action movies I've watched in my life especially when it comes to Renny Harlin's filmography.

Overall, Bodies at Rest (2019) is a fresh change of style and pace for Renny Harlin and it is easily one of his finest action movies in his filmography.

Tense action thriller set in morgue. The surroundings were used quite cleverly in many cases. Setting was very unique for action movie. Fighting was beautiful as it always tend to be in Asian films. Can't find a negative thing to say from this movie.

Though movie is thriller it is much confused story plot atleast script is very messy and poor. Many questions remain unanswered. Action scenes are repitative and drama is intentionally stretching only at morgue. We only came out after final blast. You can only watch it leaving your brain at home and by chance you forget to do this then just it switch off while the movie otherwise you could not seat till the end.
