Okay so this might not be a very thoughtful movie but it's fun to watch.. the acting is good, although the scenario isn't very well-written. I definitely recommend this movie to all the romantic souls out there.

If you like romance movies (or romance novels)... you should watch. If you want something with a little more substance... probably should pass. It's a perfect happy ending romance. Good movie with pretty good acting. I just wish the chick wasn't so terribly skinny....

My biggest complaint.. we were teased for a second movie, but I can't see any sign if it ever getting made. And after the first, I'd have been well down for it!

Great premise, alot of heart, great character chemistry, which kept them all from becoming too characteristic, and a nice satisfying ending. The four friends group were just heaps of fun to watch! And the side characters were perfect too.

Haven't read the source material, but recognised the formula in the genre, and still really enjoyed the fresh life the cast and movie production group injected into it. Just thoroughly enjoyable! Thank you Passionflix!!

The beginning of the movie was terrible to watch but then it got a lot better

It's cheesy and fluffy, but books like this are brain candy that you read in a couple of hours. The movie doesn't disappoint. Nobody is going to win awards for acting and writing, but everyone is having fun with it and it makes for an enjoyable little bon mot for your brain. Giggle, peep the beautiful people, and enjoy a break from anything heavy.

Nick Bateman was cute, adorable, and sexy in his role as Ian Hunter. I liked watching him on screen and he carried the film all the way til the end. He has natural charm and charisma. Caitlin Carver was good too and very believable as Blake. I m not one to watch films twice but I watched it several times and liked it more with each watch. The dialogue was good and well written in my opinion. My only criticism is the film should have been more serious in tone; the first half was trying to be comedy and then it took a more drastic turn towards mid end when it became clear Ian was interested in Blake as girlfriend.

Another example of an amazon movie that hits with fake reviews, written by the cast and producers no doubt. This is "50-shades" bad In terms of lame writing, bad acting and overall cheese-factor.. but it's so bad it's funny. My wife and I laughed throughout.

Yes, the story is lame but the chemistry between the charactors was palpable! Even at 52, I still remember these same people in my dorm.... the man-god who could get any girl just by saying Hi, the good looking computer dork, the cute girl who doesn't dress the part and the untouchable princess. I like bed the way the character Ian looked at Blake. I would love for someone to look so intently at me. I have known men like this who really love women and make them feel beautiful but in real life they are few and far between. At least with this movie, I could dream this kind of romance exists.....

It's really really bad. yes, nick bateman is hot, but can't act. this movie is a cringefest. and blake is so skinny, it's unhealthy. she looks more like a high-school freshman than a college student, it's hard to see her as a femme fatale. the girl playing gabi would have been a much better choice...

The scenes are super cringy, i've read the book before I saw the movie and it wasn't that cringy. There are super sharp changes in the behavior of the characters, read the book, it's better.

Horrible acting, stupid plot, i kept watching just to see Nick bateman get naked to be honest Lol. he's a terrible actor though.

The cinematography is bright and well done, the whole story goes at good pace and is well balanced with what you think it will happen and what actually happen, leaves a good feeling after watch in it like a good wine.

The plot of this movie is quite juvenile and extremely cheesy. It fails to harness the charm of a romance movie. The acting is isn't that great and the casting choices don't work at all.

They're suppose to be young adults in college and this would have worked better as a workplace romance because all the actors seem far too old to pull of college. This movie could have been a lot better with a more mature script and some real moments.

I enjoyed it and have now watched it a couple of times. Watched the movie then went back and read the book - the script is straight from the book. I thought their chemistry was good. The actors pull off college kids very well. The scenes where Ian talks to the camera remind me of Ferris Bueller, so you know its going to be a little campy. Funnier and better than the average Hallmark.

I'm giving this 2 stars only because Nick Bateman is so damn HOT! The acting was terrible, the story was boring, the whole thing was a huge letdown and total cringefest! I love romance novels and this is not representative of the genre at all. I never read this book but just judging by the movie it sounds so lame. Very disappointing!

This movie is so bad. The acting is super bad! The guy is super hot but that's about the only Redeeming Quality in this movie. Also his best friend acting is horrible too.

I saw this feature at it's Hollywood Premiere. The movie follows the book quite closely. All the actors did a great job at creating this Romantic Comedy. I enjoyed the film and meeting the actors.

This movie doesn't deserve the 8,7 rating it got when it was released, please stop giving good notes just to promote your movie. God I waited so long for this one and even with the trailer I could tell the acting would be bad. I wasn't wrong about it, Bateman's acting skills are more than questionable. The girl playing Gabi was really good tho. Can't criticize the plot since it was based on a novel or the lines since it's meant to be cheesy. Although the "Dying sucks" line is a killer. Honestly don't take this movie seriously, it's not meant to be a masterpiece but you will have a really good time watching it.

Glad I didn't check out the reviews, because I really enjoyed this movie. Funny story, I watched this thinking it was a hallmark movie...LOL...so NOT a hallmark movie.

I like when they broke the 4th wall and bell whenever he winked, the first kiss...I could feel the chemistry between the two, and the jealousy. Just a fun movie.

MY GOD!!!! Why was Nick Bateman cast? I'm sorry, but he should stick to posting on IG... Movie was so cringe. Directing was meh. Plot was horrible. I mean a mess of a "movie".

I love the book by Rachel Van Dyken, I definitely love Nick Bateman, this book adaptation was very good done, I laughed and I really enjoy myself, I knew from the book what the story line was about and what to expect, so I agree it delivered what I read on the screen. The actor casting was fantastic, I would love to see the next book in the series adapted, it's one good romantic comedy story.

I feel like this movie was an utter failure. Way too much over-acting, ridiculous storyline, I felt like they rushed the movie too much... and it was choppy and just didn't make sense at times....I would watch something else honestly.

This is a romance movie aimed at both guys and girls. One of the rare movies that men can relate to and actually portray men as the catch and women as the hunter and it works.

Ian is a matchmaker who hooks girls up with guys. Imagine Hitch in reverse. This movie is better than almost all romantic comedies, including the aforementioned Hitch. It has great lines, good believable acting and chemistry and it simply works as both a comedy and comedy romantic movie. The plot is original and the flow of the story is well paced.

This is a rare movie that guys can watch together, and girls can watch together and boyfriend and girlfriend can watch and enjoy.

I give it a 9.5 out of 10. Highly entertaining and original.
