Irene Cara: Flashdance... What a Feeling

"Flashdance" was the surprise mega-hit of its time, the movie soundtrack was also a best-selling album and it was clearly obvious which such forces combined some music video for the main song performed by Irene Cara had to be released. But this isn't a case where a concept was created or there was something outside of the film to be presented, so director Adrian Lyne and his editors simply picked the most memorable parts of the film and cut together to match the hip energized Oscar winning song. It's uplifting, magical and full of memories for fans of the movie - like me - to see the power and glory of a 1980's classic, with Jennifer Beals either working hard on her job at day and dancing, sweating her body at night in spectacular dance routines. What a feeling...8/10
