The main plot is interesting and I really like the camera angles, editing, locations used and most of the cast members. I have to admit that I've never seen the whole series and my review is based on 20-30 random that I've seen. I believe some of the storylines that are not so important get too much of the screen time. Also, some of the main characters really overexaggerate their lines and reactions.

However, I have to admit this series give me some nostalgic feelings, maybe because of the whole village atmosphere combined with the typicalyl Bulgarian characters, traditions, values and of course - the houses and the nature.

I am not the biggest fan and I can't find myself to pay attention to all the plots but if you are looking for something chill, I do recommend giving it a chance - especially comparing it to most Bulgarian shows.

Strongly disagree with the other review. It is a very good show. Pricelessly depicting Bulgarian society - its culture, traditions and habits. Amazing cast featuring the heavy-weights of acting as well as new talent. Up to date with dialogue and all aspects of it. It is also a huge production never seen before in its scale. Good premice, well executed.

There is something undoubtedly alive and so heartfelt and sincere that it is tempting to say that the series is defeated with age, which goes around the world. Therefore a more stimulating and provocative and more amusing call for armaments than anything we will probably hear. The best series in more than a decade and the one that clarifies exactly what its strengths are. Fun and always on topic. The directorial debut goes into detail. This series does a good job of analyzing his film career. This explains why he makes some of the films only when it is relevant to his work as a director and is obviously very relevant. The audience is aware because the series itself is the one that contributes the most. Many of the actors and actresses who have contributed to the script are almost dizzy with praise, and I guess we should expect that. Hilariously bad at almost every aspect. It started of with an okay idea, but after more than a 100 episodes in it's first season. it became unbearable.

It is unbelieveble, how such great actors cast can be in this terrible show! The idea is interesting, but the execution - my God is BAD! No real plot, just a buch of random scenes full with forced drama and sloppy comedy relief. Almost no likeable characters and real development - after 100 episodes you have the feeling, they are exactly the same. And when you add some untalented and unproffesional "actors" to the mix, it's a guaranteed disaster!
