Avis à la une
Coming to the plot, I like the theme how it goes around the life of elderly people who are struggling with "what to do" after ages of work-life and it is difficult to get the right social issue on screen and writer director done this job fabulously. It's a family comedy movie with the message that people should not stop living after retirement and loving themselves. Instead they should love themselves more now as they are having more time now. Ideologies like senior citizens should not drink or watch naughty stuff, I mean why? When young generation can do it, same way seniors can do it. I like the idea how the director represented it on screen. Also, King Altaaf Raja is back with another hit song. Apart from Altaaf Raja's song, I like the other song very much which goes like "Mai Jogi Mai Jogi."
The film is based on the fact that in the last stages of life old people need love and support. Loneliness, insecurities and uncertainties of life make them bitter. Day care center.
In terms of acting, acting has been done just right. Yes, the view that the film tried to give is quite amazing. In today's environment, children are forgetting their responsibilities towards their parents.
10 nahi 40 movie defines life can be lived in beautiful, fun manner even after retirement from work-life. This is not only a movie, but it is also a real-life lesson for all of us which the director has shown. It's a great piece of work showing the harsh but the true reality. It goes around with elders being neglected by their family. However, the film does have a comedy track & that is its strong point, audience can feel few laughs in between the storyline. Here, the theme is also similar but with a nice twist in the end. The film can be watched with the entire family. Music is decent. At some places I feel scene can be wrote more beautifully and at some places I feel performances were below the average bar. Overall, it's a good watch movie.
Actors acting were too good and very realistic. Social message is there in this movie that now-a-days most of the children do not respect their parents and feel them as a burden. And when their children get married and when their daughter in law or son in law enter in their house, they don't respect them, pay attention to them and don't have emotion for them. It feels like they utilize their parents like puppets and later they humiliate them as well. I like how Sumit who used to hate elders, his heart changes and he opens home for elderly people. That is a perfect decision. In India 90 percent cases is there. In India most of parents spend money in their children's education and for other expenses but in the end all they get is humiliation because they are not up to date according to society.
