Roswell, New Mexico

Firstly I loved the original series and it still rates as my fav all time tv show. Sure the New Pilot lacked in comparison to 1999 but I really liked it and can see so much potential with a different slant on the original story. I'm sad that many original fans have given it so much hate with 1/10 ratings. Its really better than that.. Those are emotional votes and I kind of get the loyalty to the original, but lets give it a chance.. I see Shiri Appleby is directing an episode.. If its good enough for Shiri to give her time and support, I hope original Roswell fans will as well.

It's hard to live up to the original Roswell, let alone surpass it, but as long as this new Isobel is being played by the current actress it'll never come close. I'm a diehard Roswell fan, and I ended up turning the show off completely.

If I went home to my childhood town, met an old (boy)friend, and he said "oh, by the way, I saved your life in that shooting, and Im an alien" - my response woudn't be "ok, I want to know who killed my sister".

It would be like "WTF??? Where do you come from? Do you really look like that? Why are you here? How old are you?" And then maybe "Do you know anything about my sister?"

There is absolutely no chemistry between the main characters, what so ever. None. I have not seen the original Roswell, and not read the books, so I wonder what this series is about? A grumpy woman, and a lovestruck alien?

Watching episode 3 now. Last chance.

I was a huge fan of the original series and I was excited to see this reboot. After 4 episodes, I'm ready to give up. The characters have no chemistry and are annoying. I don't feel a connection with any of them. At first I thought maybe it was because I still had the original characters in mind and if they had changed the names It would've been easier to like this new version. However, after 4 episodes I'm realizing it's just not good. I'm disappointed.

I have enjoyed this show however Liz is just awful! The actress can not act well. Season 3 I had thought Liz was out of the picture but no... her acting just makes it hard to watch every single time she is on screen.
