Did any one from this film actually pass grade 1? or are they american?
I liked Zombie World (2015) it was an enjoyable little zombie anthology that blended horror and comedy with great success. It also included Fist of Jesus, which is one of the best short films around.
Upon learning there was a sequel I was very excited, so based on my rating you can probably tell the film thoroughly broke my heart.
Still an anthology it has dropped the comedy element altogether, it's also dropped the wrap around, and instead we have an imbalanced set of short zombie movies which are a combination of frighteningly boring and bafflingly stupid.
I'm actually still reeling a tad, make no mistake my 2/10 is as low as a 2 can be before hitting a 1. The film has no redeeming features, the stories are just terrible and honestly can't really even be considered stories at all.
They just come across as snippets, cut from bad movies. It starts bad, then trails into boring territory, where the final story is so lifeless and so mundane my jaw dropped. It felt like a bad arthouse film, simply awful.
Zombie World (2015) fans, pretend this doesn't exist.
The Good:
Absolutely nothing
The Bad:
Awful cover art
Pretty much everything

Saying this was a bad movie would be generous. This movie was awful. Supposedly in English, yeah right, switches to spanish part way in.
Acting was purposely atrocious, as no one could act that bad unless it was on purpose.
No plot at all: entire film was a mashup of disjointed clips, with no attempt to tie anything together, and no real point to any of the clips. . The ending was just that: it ended, no conclusion, no ending, just stopped the film. When you have no plot, you can end it whenever.
Omg, this was such a waste of time and money. I can't believe someone thought this would make a successful movie. There was no sense, no plot, no hero, no one to root for: this was a badly filmed collection of zombie encounters, where you didn't really care if anyone survived or not, you just wanted it to end.
Right, well with this 2018 movie titled "Zombie World 2" being a zombie movie, of course I would eventually find myself sitting down to watch it, as I immensely like anything with zombies.
Turns out that "Zombie World 2" wasn't really a movie as per se, but more of an anthology of stories revolving around zombies in one way or another. And the stories or segments were definitely of different quality and interest. I can honestly say that only two of the segments managed to catch my interest.
What works for "Zombie World 2" was the zombie make-up, which was for the most part actually quite good. Not Greg Nicotero good, but good enough, and definitely better than what you see in most other zombie movies with the same level of production or budget.
The acting in the movie was adequate, although I can't really claim to remember one performance as being more outstanding than the others.
All in all, "Zombie World 2" wasn't overly impressive, and it definitely didn't bring anything new to the zombie genre.
My rating of "Zombie World 2" lands on a meager three out of ten stars. It was a zombie movie of sorts, sure, which did count for something, but the plots and storylines in the segments just didn't really work in favor of the movie. While I managed to sit through the entire movie, this is not a movie that I will be returning to watch a second time. Nor is it a zombie movie I recommend that you waste your money, time or effort on.

As zombie type movies, it is not as bad as they say. The production level of any story in the movie is above the average of this type of film. Particularly noteworthy is a five-minute short film that deconstructs labor relations through surprising techniques.
