dud

Kara Spencer (Elisabeth Harnois) is a therapist working out of a church. Her fiery redhead new client Isabelle (Kimberly-Sue Murray) is actually her boyfriend Tyler (Morgan Kelly)'s crazy ex Elle Lloyd. She's getting married but Elle won't let it go. Despite Elle's relentless attacks, she is protected by her police chief father.

There is not enough tension at the beginning. Tyler needs to be already cheating with Elle or he has to be at least be a living, breathing character. He's a complete dud. I see no attraction and I see no reason why these women are fighting over him. The whole thing becomes a dud.

Worst acting

Red headed chic was the worst actress ever. Her dialogue sounded like she was playing a Disney villain. Movie was terrible. I would never recommend this movie. Can't get those two hours of my life back. Booooooo.

One cliche busted, two more shown.

On the plus side this movie changed the "women always say no " cliche that is popular in movies like this. In the beginning when they were eating diner Kara actually ordered something when asked what she wanted (Hollywood seems to think women go to restaurants and don't eat or drink anything) But it quickly went downhill after that. The biggest were k***ing a pet and ONCE AGAIN giving mental illness a poor representation. Oh and the movie was pretty forgettable otherwise. Pass on this one. Much better "bad " lifetime movies to find enjoyable

Two of the leads need to go back to bagging groceries

I cannot for the life of me find a positive to this debacle. The actors who played the boyfriend and the ex-girlfriend were horrendous, with the boyfriend being dumber than a brick as well as a cardboard cut-out. While the ex-girlfriend came off like Cruella from 101 Dalmatians and wasn't as attractive as the current girlfriend. But what else would you expect from the bottom of the barrel production, weaker than two percent milk script and a director whose work comes off like a 2nd grade thanksgiving play.

Why did I subject myself to such an unbelievable and plot hole fill movie and not heed the advice of other viewers? Because I must be a glutton for punishment due to the whelps on my face from all the face palming stupidity I just witnessed.

These writers either are lazy, or they write scripts for movies viewed by gullible viewers with the intelligence quotient of a maganut, which is in the vicinity of an eggplant by comparison. Because every time someone of normal thinking would have done or said something to squelch a possible issue, we are given straight up face palming ignorance.

Trust me when I say this, avoid this movie like the plague, a tRump rally or voting for any member of the Greed Over People Party.

Not flawless, but surprisingly good

I found this movie by accident, and was very pleasantly surprised with what I'd stumbled upon. The movie was very well shot, and definitely drew you in to it's story. The acting and line delivery, while spotty in some areas, was convincing for the most part and what slightly off lines existed added to the realism of the movie rather than detracted from it. The only criticism I would add to the dialogue is at the beginning and the final scene, where exposition is delivered pretty baldly, and pulls you out of the moment a bit.

The plot, while definitely flawed in some areas, definitely has a realistic feel to it, aided by the good emoting by the two leads. While one might take different actions in real life, the general feeling the characters have can easily be empathized with by the viewer.

The pacing of the film would be my biggest criticism of the movie. It's meant to be a slow burn, and while it manages to keep the viewer engaged for the most part, the 90 minute film definitely feels a lot longer than it should be in some spots.

Overall, while not perfect, it's definitely a hidden gem that is worth the time to watch for yourself!

Hmmmm, no.

Lifetime has a bad track record with depicting mental health and this is no exception. Twist at the end was such a disappointment

SHAME ON YOU LIFETIME! STOP KILLING ANIMALS FOR PLOT DEVICES!

I am SO SICK of Lifetime using the killing of pets as plot devices. How many times do we need to see a defenseless dog or cat be murdered, so you can show someone is a nutter? It's repetitive NONSENSE, that's UNNECESSARY & PREDICTABLE! Here's a clue, have an animal save the day, be a great companion, offer comfort, etc. and NOT get killed. Get some new material Lifetime, preferably that doesn't encourage animal cruelty.

Insane and twisted (it might be or ... yes?)

What does it take to confront a person that is obviously messing with you? That is a question that our main character here has to find out ... find a solution. Which is especially tough to do, when that person only shows their ugly side to you and not to the public as much.

Yes twists and turns maybe overall predictable, but I'd say that the movie does have a few fresh punches left for you. That doesn't mean you'll love this, but maybe you at least appreciate it. A neat little thriller, nothing more, nothing less.

Drama, twists, and a wonderful lead

Believe it or not, this was my first LMN movie. I was hooked. The plot of this one left me wondering (and my wife and I discussing after viewing) who actually did what. Elisabeth Harnois amazing- beautiful, sensitive, strong, smart. She demonstrated her versatility throughout the entire film. To me, the other actors were forgettable, but Elisabeth made you care about Kara and made her memorable. One of the few LMN movies I would watch again.
