Best of Luck Laalu is a film about a sixteen-year old boy, Amatya A.K.A Laalu Modi, who is in SSC. His mother, Daksha Modi, a middle-class working woman wants to see her son in the merit list, so that he can have a better future in a better world. Laalu too is a dedicated student and also wants to fulfill her mother's dream. But like any other student his life too is like a roller-coaster, filled with fun and pressure to score well in the Board exams. Laalu's grandfather, Haresh Modi is also a part of Laalu's hectic preparation, and tries to add fun in the filled with pressure life. Amidst all the havoc of 10th standard preparation, Laalu also has a love interest Forum, and shares a new aged, "first love" angle with her. The film is a sweet, simple, fun take on the situation of a 10th standard student which awaits a lot of drama and twists and turns.

Would love to watch it again. What a movie. Acting, Direction and background music just more than perfect. A milestone for Gujarati films, this movie is a complete package, it has good content, fab actors, amazing music. Sachin-Jigar takes Music on another level they're doing a superb job for Gujarati Film Industry. Brilliant direction, cheers Vipul Mehta.

An excellent movie about what a normal 10th std student goes through..

As it happens I saw this movie on the day it released, when I went in I knew the topic was around our very first big examination i.e 10th std.

Its that big exam that all of us have to go through, so I knew it will be interesting to watch and see how much the director gets right about the kids and what we go through.

After having seen the movie, I can say that this movie shows the exact mindset of young students in 10th fighting the pressure to score well while also just trying to stay sane.

The biggest thing that I connected well with was his first love in 10th std, in fact there is a very beautiful scene between the dada and smit about first love and romance and it was just spot on.

Also there are different type of students and there perspectives shown as well, although not in a huge detail. Some other characters a cheater, somebody who just wants to pass, somebody who can't remember anything he studies and finally the topper.

Production Quality And Music The movie does not feel like a gujrati, you can even see in the trailers that the movie is very well made and its the same in the movie as well.

After the story and acting, Music is the most awesome thing about this movie.

In short, Go ahead watch it over this week, you will enjoy and love it.
