I put this on in the background with absolutely no expectations and ended up stopping what I was doing to watch it. An extremely silly, buddy-comedy that is surprisingly well executed, written and acted. It follows a lot of typical clichés for the genre, but does it well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a late-night stoner comedy and some good laughs.

I really don't understand some imdb reviewers. Everything is too the extreme. Worst movie ever? Really? These are the same people who say this about every movie they don't like. It's the WORST.

This movie isn't spectacular. It's ok. It's worth watching. I felt like the laughs were consistent, but a little weak. It runs about fifteen mins longer than it needs to be as well.

Okay so let me be straight. This is by no means a great movie. But what's good about it is that it subverts expectations. I expected this to be utter garbage and unfunny. But it wasn't. Anyways comedy is pretty subjective. You may either like it or hate it. If youre expecting smart and witty one liners this isn't your cup. But if youre in for some really weird,crude and raunchy type of a comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously then I feel you'll love this. It has some major flaws though. For one, the movie could be a little bit tightly edited, also not all the jokes landed. Some were funny while some were just meh. But what surprised me was the acting. Especially the guy from ALEX STRANGELOVE and the girl from BLOCKERS. Their comic timing is great. The supportijg cast is pretty good too. Overall this movie is a competently made nextflix original. Its not the smartest or the most compelling movie but that wasn't the point of the movie anyway. Its just a 90 minute fun ride that keeps you entertained till the end.

For a Netflix original comedy this is actually legitimately funny. Obviously it's a ridiculous and unrealistic story line that's ultimate stupid but it's still funny as hell.

The Package is a Netflix original that channels American Pie (1999) and other gross out teen comedies. It does however ramp it up quite a bit and provides surely the most dick jokes in one single film!

It tells the story of five friends who go camping, but when one drunkenly cuts his dick off it becomes a race against time to get him to the hospital and have it sewn back on.

Based on that premise I'm sure you think the movie will be crude, crass and infantile and you'd be entirely right. However thanks to a decent cast, script and direction it's actually an oddly hilarious little comedy.

The mostly unknown little cast did great here, Michael Eklund is also on hand to provide some veteran contributions and was great as always.

Not for weak stomachs be aware that when I say this is a gross out comedy I'm not exaggerating, it's pretty hardcore stuff as you'd imagine something that's centered entirely around decapitated genitals would be.

I laughed way more than I expected, I found our five leads to be surprisingly likeable and the whole thing was just a well put together goofy little movie.

I really enjoyed The Package and am not afraid to admit it, absolute laugh riot.

Well i was able to predict the story out.. but it was funny. The script was hilarious.

One of those one time watch movies

I mean, there wasn't anything particularly hilarious at any given point, but it was a pretty cute movie. Another reviewer states how the gags didn't always work...giving the film a single star. I don't understand how not particularly enjoying a film translates it to being the absolute worst garbage you can possibly view, but this is by no means a 1-star film. Can we stop with that, guys? The characters are likable, even relatable, and some of the situations, while, not being "laugh out loud" funny as much as I'd have liked, will have you smiling.

I didnt think this was terrible. It's the usual. It kept me entertained and I had a few giggles. If you have nothing better to do and want to dumb it down for a minute go for it. Given this is made by the guys from Workaholics, it's the same type of humor.

Bloody awful. The actors do the best they can with what they had but the plot was so cliche, over the top in a D grade American Pie style kinc of way. Brain garbage.

My consensus is that it was an above average flick - not great by any stretch of the imagination - but still fun and nostalgic (remembering the simple idea of spending time with friends of both genders, with sexual tension amongst people). It certainly was a screw ball teen comedy with drinking, innuendos, and violence, humor, a touch of romance, and a well-rounded cast. It's safe to say most people have thick enough skin to put up with the film, despite how over the top it is.

After a long stream of seeing poor Netflix-produced films, I was surprised that the story made me laugh as much as I did. Sometimes you need some shock value- this did deliver.

Really? It's a mindless piece of garbage, the second I'm reviewing lately (the other one was "father of the year"). And again ... Really? Are teenage people in the US as stupid as they depicted in that film? I hope not! Are there people over 12yo, who are laughing with all those cold served dick "jokes"? I dont have anything against dick jokes and spicy jokes in general, as long as they are smart, well fitted (not that there is anything to fit on in that movie), and most of all well acted by the actors (take for a positive example the movie superbad). I swear every time i sit to watch movies like this one, another movie comes to my mind, "Idiocracy". They make me feel like I'm inside the world of idiocracy, where everything is silly made for sillly people. It's not that i want to offend people that found that piece of s...t amusing, but got to speak what is in my mind.

Imho the audience should feel that the American movie industry treats them with extreme disrespect when filming so so so so fu**d up(and not in a good way) movies. Even the American youth should feel offended when depicted like in th package (like mindless junkies). Anyway... couldn't watch the movie till the end, better skip it yourself.

This film knows what it is and I believe it executes that very well. Although the main plotline revolves around a severed penis. The jokes and comedy wasn't overly stupid; it was very aware of how "stupid" the film sounds and played to it rather well. I very much enjoyed to say the least.

Pushed myself to finish this movie, but yeah that was pretty hard. It starts off ok but turns more and more stupid the further in the movie. Jokes are very repetitive and don't really make sense. The kids seem not to care too much for bringing the cut off dick in time to the hospital and lack any common sense.

I just hope Netflix can come up with better movies than this.

As an old man I'm aware this is not for me. But I enjoyed it. The package is a gross out comedy updated for the new generation. It's not a comedic masterpiece but has enough fun stuff to keep your attention. Let's be real. Many of its predecessors are a lot worse. Films like Euro trip and the American pie sequels are unwatchable even if you did in your younger years. The package is a solid film in its genre and are worth a watch on a lazy Sunday.

This movie goes places.. places you see coming a mile away (most of it). There are no real jokes, no character development and the plot itself is as simple as straightforward as it can be. The Mountain location reminds of the plethora of 80s movies that filmed in the forest because of monetary constraints and lack of creativity and lots of walking around with nothing happening!

But I still watched it completely.. I mean, even a broken clock gives the right time twice, right! But I was wrong. All in all, this movie is as dumb as the emoji poster it has on Netflix.

Right, well while "The Package" does follow a very generic blueprint of how to make a teen comedy, then it still worked out well enough. Why? Well, because of the storyline and the funny situations that were present throughout the movie.

The characters in "The Package" were characters that you instantly took to heart and felt like you were right there with them cheering on them to get to the hospital in time, and laugh with them at all the hilarious situations that they ended up entangled with.

There was a good amount of laughs to be had throughout the course of this movie, and I was genuinely entertained by it. However, I will say that this is hardly a comedy that you will watch more then once, because the story just doesn't have enough leverage to support more than a single viewing.

The acting in the movie was good, and it was actually nice to see mostly new faces on the screen. It should be said that the cast were doing great jobs in portraying their individual roles and bringing the movie to life on the screen. I was especially surprised to see Michael Eklund in this movie, and his role was just brilliant.

"The Package" is definitely worth checking out if you like a good laugh and have no problems with the teenage comedy genres.

So dumb. I can't believe movies as dumb as this get distributed. I wanted to turn it off but I couldn't find the remote.

This was a charming movie that really made my night enjoyable. The way I stumbled upon this film was finding something to watch with the broskis. The film was, as one of my good pals said, The Hangover but you see it as it happens. The wild adventures this film will bring you on just happen to surprise you at every turn. I'd say the movie knew when it was being cheesy, and this brought about a certain charm. The production was good, with some nice shots displayed throughout the film. Overall, I'd say the movie lost some points from the overall cheesiness, but I would recommend the watch, as it can remind you of your wildest nights as teenagers.

I watched this on LSD and now I'm off my goddamn rocker

It was one of the most terrible films I have seen in a while... but I cant remember the last time I laughed as much as I did. As long as you embrace the cringeyness and very questionable plot and script, you'll enjoy it. Easy watching.

I only made it 30 minutes into the movie. Do yourself a favour and move on!

OK so movie wasn't spectacular but was OKAY! the first half and the last 20 minutes were very boring but some parts in the middle were entertaining and hilarious
