This is a mystery that's easier to solve than many Scooby Doo movies. My first suspect was correct and it was one of the easiest crimes i solved. Part of the issue is that when a crime is this easy, it drags a movie down. Surprises are best and this wasn't a surprise

I'm always willing to forgive a ropey start with the expectation that the narrative and tension will pick up to a compelling Act II with a satisfactory denouement to match the meat of the yarn.
This flick never took off the ground for me and I couldn't muster the energy to suspend my disbelief at all the contrived coincidences that just didn't add up. The words lazy screenwriting spring to mind.
So bored was I towards the end I wanted a psychotic mass killer to turn up outta nowhere with a rapidfire machine gun and mow all the main characters down in less than twelve seconds flat - I couldn't wait to see the back of this snivelling lot.
This was the ending I desired but unfortunately, and expectedly, the makers of this yarn delivered the ropey ending to match the ropey beginning....there's a fifteen minute chunk in the ropey middle where I fell asleep but unfortunately I woke up...😴😒 Did I miss anything?
You bet I didn't!
My other reviews testify that I'm no mean critic but this flick has brought out my worst side so far.

This was your typical murder mystery missing family member LMN movie. As if this plot line hasn't been done over a million times. This movie was abysmal! with bad acting, unlikeable characters, and unoriginal plot, as I had said before. I barely paid any attention to it and couldn't wait for it to be over!

This movie is about real life abandoned kids by parents issue, and typical crimes.
I liked it for positive ending and for its topic: real life crime and relationship problems. There is bit too much talk and too little action, and too much typical stuff. It could have been more professional. Also I immediately recognized Al Sapienza, the actor from Prison Break season 1. He looks political and serious, just like in Prison Break.
Wow! We really enjoyed this movie. Cristina Rosato made Ashley a character that you really cared about. It really seemed like she was a real life mother searching for her real life daughter.
Like any movie there were some flaws- the one that stood out most to us was when they discovered the body of Emma, they were picking up shoes and other things that might be clues and also moving the body. And the sheriff and his deputy were complicit in violating the crime scene.
Overall, however, it was engaging and I am looking for other titles with Cristina Rosato in them.
We also loved how the movie tried to make poor Troy the "obvious" bad guy.

I watched it more than 10 times! BTW, to whoever said "it's a typical LMN movie", it's not! It was filmed by a Canadian company and 3 years later made it's way to LMN.
