Moreno, Sebastiano and Giuseppe, three middle aged friends down in luck try to earn some extra cash exploiting criminal events of the 80s and taking tourists to visit unusual corners of Rome, where a famous gang used to operate.
Moreno is obsessed with the 'Banda della Magliana" and knows everything about it, but still cannot help being surprised when he ends up in 1982 with his friends, through a movie device called "window in time".
Very quickly the friends decide to take advantage of their knowledge of future events to get rich. Except, they are not too smart and end up as hostages of Renatino, a big boss of the Magliana.
Through a series of - more or less funny - misunderstandings, they manage to get hold of part of a small treasure hidden by the Banda, but the boss' moll who took a fancy to Sebastiano, will put their plan at risk.
Open ending, mediocre development and the only female role is a prostitute who struts her stuff scantily dressed most of the time, in the worst Italian tradition of sexy "comedies".
