Home in Time

A witty family comedy that everyone will enjoy, especially the tech geeks.

A truly entertain and funny film. Strong performances, well written and executed script. It is impossible to say anything negative about this film and am looking foraward to seeing what Patrick Haggarty produces next.

Home in Time is a time-travel comedy featuring a handful of characters but mainly focusing on Felix, a father of a young child. Imagine his surprise when, during some quality time with his wife, Kate, they are suddenly visited by... himself-along with a group of strangers from the future. Unfortunately, his future self isn't exactly a nice guy and seems to enjoy little more than whiskey and mind-altering drugs..

At 16 minutes long, Home in Time is an entertaining short film that doesn't aim for any deep meaning, message, or moral. It's pure fun-unless it's meant as a proof-of-concept to pitch a full-length movie version. The acting isn't particularly impressive, but it's not bad either, and there are several fun twists in the story that keep things engaging.

That said, the film could have explained the time travel mechanics and their impact on the timeline a bit more clearly. The dialogue on this topic felt too brief and shallow, leaving me confused about what really happened in the end-and why. As a result, the story felt like it ended too abruptly and without making much sense.
