Peer Pressure: Nobody Tells Me What to Do!

A high school student is tired of his crammed life. There's school and a part-time job, and four days a week there's practice for the baseball team, which consists of exercise and little more. There's no prospect of doing much but sitting on the bench. So when the cool kid suggests he cut class and play video games, he does it. And he winds up in the crowd of kids who shoplift and steal cars for joy riding, and break into places.

And what's the point? It's not like any of these kids lack things. They're just bored and filling their time with anti-social behavior. Because when you don't have anything else to do, at least you can shock the squares. Until you wind up arrested and facing trial, that is.
