Avis à la une
This film is an attempt to make a full-length action spy thriller on a truly microscopic budget. The miracle is therefore that it exists at all, and intense criticism of its technical merits is a bit beside the point. Very basic film and sound recording lead to rather static and stagey acting, but the unreal dramatics in very real settings is disturbing and quite effective. The story puts an unusual human perspective on an otherwise rather standard cold-war spy-craft plot. The general message that suppressed human fallibilities stuff up even the most important and deadly of government functions is well-demonstrated: this is a very British kind of story, and the absence of the comedy with which this sort of sorry tale is usually served up increases its impact.
Arron Blake's performance stands out, and although hard going in parts this film is a remarkable achievement.

We had high hopes but a low budget shone through along with inconsistent plot lines. Completely deserted streets, even at night, are a bit far fetched and after a while even the acting fades, quite a bit. You've been warned.
The movie starts a bit slow. Was much more focused on the sky aspect than I expected. Not that it's a problem. However, when the shimmers of romance came through it felt like it fell a bit short on the passion and expectation. It takes quite a turn and then feels a bit anti-climax. If not a bit of a tragedy.
They definitely wrote in a lot of stupid things that will likely annoy you. But Christian felt quite human and attractive at first. His character gets written a bit badly though. In the end the emotions fall flat. I had hopes cause this was a sexy scenario and 2 hunks, but alas, a bit flat. The low budget does shine through but the acting isn't bad, it's mostly the lighting and empty areas that give you that strange depressing vibe that comes from these low budget films. I think if these characters were given a chance in a bit of a different story it could've been really good. The spy thriller is still an interesting take and glad that it exists though. The more variety in this genre, the better.
