This is not a show that's absolutely wild with action or drama, but it's paced enough so that it is easy to follow and has its moments. It is relatable as well especially if you're an artist to the patience and hardship it takes to be an artist and make it.
I don't know if the lead actor is the most perfect fit for the show, but I do like his subtle acting, his line delivery, and he has an interesting look. I also wish more shows would film in Baltimore because they do a good job showing the city.
If you're looking for a low-key show with realistic characters that are quirky, odd, and goofy, I would definitely recommend this.
