Avis à la une
Various peculiar movies have been long acceptable, whether it be about zombies, monsters, or even aliens and it was a challenge to make a compelling and convincing film out of such unnatural themes. Philippine cinema has only made a few that is the why I was quite intrigued and excited when Star Cinema made a film as odd as this. I thought it was bold and progressive at the same time as it doesn't follow a normal routine Filipino movies do. However, the movie disappointed me. For a few reasons, one - the questionable character of Mika and her mother. The film did not show a strong basis to justify their beliefs to supernatural beings. In turn, I did not saw depth to their personalities. They failed to hook me with their eccentricity. Two - the delivery. I cringed the whole time to the upbeat conversation between Caloy and Mika. They look uncontained and importunate together. Perhaps they did it for charm but to me it seems unrealistic to find acquaintances continuously and playfully arguing over the shallowest things. I thought it would be more fitting if instead of disagreeing with one another, they would use the time to explain themselves and discuss their bizarre theories, hence, revealing more about their characters. (I was referring to the carabao-eating-humans part) It's wasteful for me.
Totally blown away by Joshua and Julia's acting prowess! They knocked this one out of the park. Unbelievable! This isn't your typical Star Cinema movie, that much I can say. This is the creation of the writer and master storyteller Antoinette Jadaone. I cant stress enough how good it is! This one's for the books! I love it!!!
Stumbled upon this movie on Netflix by chance and I couldn't be more grateful.
The movie made me laugh and then cry in a lot of places.
It was an emotional roller-coaster and it touches us in the right spots.
The story even though might be a tried and tested storyline, Julia and Joshs' acting brought the movie to a whole new level.
This movie will remain different from the other's of the same story line only because of them.
I am an Indian and my level of respect for Filipino actors have gone 100× higher because of them.
Treasure them because they are gonna change the face of the Philippines TV/film industry.

The movie was great and superb acting by the lead stars esp. To Joshua Garcia this movie has so many lessons about life. Well written movie Not your typical romance comedy instead the drama makes it look Interesting and you feel all the emotions they portray every time they Talk with each other or to their families. This drama teaches us Everything about life whether to accept it or not. Reality it is. I Must say they set the bar high for teens or millennials movie. Aside From that you need tissue here. Well done
One of the best film I've ever watched. The emotion is real plus all the characters are perfect. I recommend it to everybody. You will like the story because it's happening in real life, just take a journey of your life to make it happen. This movie will make you laugh and cry. The most important lesson here is to love, love without limitation. That's it.

- AnecdotesWas not originally planned to be the second Joshua Garcia-Julia Barretto (Joshlia) film. Their second film was originally Unexpectedly Yours (2017), but because of the change-up regarding their co-star Sharon Cuneta's onscreen partner for that movie, this film was put into production first. Unexpectedly Yours would later be shown in November 2017, three months after the premiere of Love You to the Stars and Back.
- GaffesWhile walking through Mt. Milagros, Mika has her jacket wrapped around her waist; in the next shot when the helicopter appears above her and Caloy, she's wearing her jacket. She alternates between wearing the jacket and not, between closeups and wide shots having it on in between closeups and wide shots, until ending the scene wearing the jacket.
