Station 19 is hands down favourite TV show! There's a reason it's ABC's top rated show! Not only are there gripping incidents that you see the team respond to but you also get a deep insight into each character. The characters are fully fleshed out, so multi-dimensional and with so many different layers to them.
A special shout out has to go to Maya and Carina and their relationship. It is the most beautiful relationship that provides not only incredibly important wlw representation but is also simply a privilege to watch. Danielle Savre and Stefania Spampinato are phenomenal actors and their chemistry is out of this world!
The show covers so many incredibly important topics and does so each time with sensitivity and authenticity.

The care and love that are put into the stories and into the characters is great. I've never seen a show where the actors care so much about their characters and the chemistry between Danielle and Stefania is just wow. ALL of the cast is amazing. Absolutely LOVE this show. I actually look forward to Thursdays just so I can watch. It is the ONLY scripted television I watch at this point. The lives that this show has touched and the lives that have been changed due the actors that portray these characters so beautifully is like none I've ever seen. I will forever be grateful for everything this show has given me.

Despite being a spinoff, Station 19 has proved with both viewers and ratings that it has what it takes to hold its own. This show is not "just another firefighter show", nor is it another drama like Grey's. This show has a cast that is diverse in ways of race, ethnicity, culture, sexuality, etc. It showcases storylines that pushes boundaries of what society has typically deemed unacceptable to discuss on prime-time television- abortion, racial profiling, police brutality. It has representation of the most organic sapphic relationship of any television or movie I have ever seen. The chemistry between the two actors that play the characters of Maya and Carina are phenomenal at portraying the love between the two. The ups and downs, and everything in between, they are purely magic. This show is truly incredible. It should be continued on, and can definitely be watched independently of Grey's Anatomy so don't worry!
Shows relationships between firefighters and every day life situations and the diversity of people and conflict resolution. The situations they get into. One of the most entertaining shows I have watched. It has both awesome and heartbreaking moments that firefighters face in the line of duty and managing their lives at home as well. Love that they included Greys Anatomy with their mashups including characters between the two shows. If you love that show this is definitely a must watch! Sad that this will be the last season unfortunately as I seen an article saying that they will be able to make a good ending for the show for the last season.
I absolutely love watching this tv show. While looking like just another fire fighting drama, station 19 actually covers a lot of social justice and realistic life problems both on a personal level as well as on a global or national scale. Station 19 has a lot of representation from all sorts, the major ones being racial and sexuality representation.
It show the highs and lows, of life of all people. I have yet to meet one person who hasn't been able to relate to one aspect or another when watching Station 19.
The thought that they might be cancelling this series would be a great mistake as it means so much to so many people.

- AnecdotesWhile apparently set in Seattle, filming is mostly done in Los Angeles. The fire-station's exterior establishing shots are from the Seattle Fire Department's actual Station 20 (there is no real-world 'Station 19'), located on 15th Avenue West on Queen Anne's west side.
- GaffesFirefighters in the real world must be clean-shaven. Beards (even long stubble) can interfere with their breathing apparatus and would not be permissible.
