Such A Powerful Film

I Am You is an absolutely fantastic movie, I was honestly mind blown! I can definitely watch the movie over and over again! Damla Sönmez is one of the best actors I have ever come across, her performance in this movie was terrific! Must Watch! :)

Powerful and Extraordinary !

What an intense first point perspective told from the eyes of these beautiful human refugees. This movie puts you on the boat, in the truck, in the hospital, in these very countries that we don't even think twice about. The plight that our refugees go through is something else. We are all one race, the human race and this movie proves that! A MUST SEE for everyone!

Shared humanity

I Am You, directed by Sonia Cole touches the heart and reminds us of our shared humanity. Scenes of courage and desperation foreshadowed actual events and gives insight to the human spirit reaching to the light of freedom to survive. Brilliant and moving.

Powerful telling of true struggle

This movie draws one into the perilous circumstances, including a display of the brutality of the Taliban, and struggles faced by refugees who seek to find their way to freedom. It's a well told true story with superb acting, directing and cinematography. Hope to see it again once theaters reopen. It's a must see for those who care about human rights.
