Mark Kenny has shown himself to be a tremendous talent in every aspect of this production as producer, writer and lead actor. With hilarious dialogue, beautiful cinematography and a wonderful approach to a quintessentially North East English but universally appreciated narrative.

A Dirty Weekend is the debut feature film of North East filmmaker Mark Kenny. When watching this film, it's easy to tell that it was created with a lot of passion, the script is masterfully written, performances on-screen are brilliant and the narrative throughout the entire film takes the viewer on a hilarious journey through the countryside, with plenty of hilarious scenarios represented and portrayed throughout.
I would highly recommend this film to anyone who can manage to see it, especially people from the North East that can appreciate the setting and work from a local filmmaker. I would definitely say it's one of not only the funniest films I've seen this year, but one of the funniest period.

Highly enjoyable bawdy comedy set in the rural North East of England.
Some great comic moments with a cast and plot that ensures great performances and storyline. It is hard to believe it was made on a shoe string budget as Mark Kennys imagination is brought to life by not just the cast, great writing and direction but by the beautifully shot scenes and I'm not just saying that because I appear in it.
A triumph for all who contributed to this local film that looks set to put the small film makers of the North East on the map.
