Avis à la une
This one has a well woven screenplay and keeps the characters relevant till the climax. Carefully shows the strengths and weaknesses of characters and backed with good performance. The film however lacks a little bit on cinematic aesthetics and background score. The film feels very simply shot and emphasised more on the actors.
Additionally, the art department has make it seem very believable and the costumes are also very good. Had the film had better colour scheme, it would have been aesthetically brilliant and appealing for the audience. The king and his subject outshine everyone in the film with their performances.

I am fond of Korean movies. Did not expected must by seeing the rating . It's a out of box detective movie which is under rated in my view. Thoroughly enjoyable. Great acting and humor. Highly recommend for all ages. Please watch. You are gonna like it.
If you liked Robert Downing Jr's interpretation of Sherlock Holmes in A Game Of Shadows, then rejoice because The Kings Case Note is the same film - same characters, same tone, and a plot heavily influenced by The Hound Of The Baskerville, plus some generic "intrigue in the court" plot thrown in.
Likeable characters, occasional humor, just a touch of Wuxia, a pretty solid production values make this a welcome break from the horrible films i've been watching lately. Don't expect a masterpiece, but do expect to be amused in this comedy / mystery set in medieval Korea.
I would recommend The Kings Case Note; it's funny, not presumptuous, and while it may need a bit of trimming down, it's absolutely fine for a pleasant evening.
My vote: 7/10.

Loving detective movies, this Korean movie has all the ingredients for a good detective comedy.
To recommend without a doubt. Waiting for a second part!
