Very colorfully filmed on what may be a beach in South Africa (well, they're Dutch anyway). Acting like a college theatre department staging a play... with no real actors, amateurish everything - costumes, make-up - no script to speak of. Some of the most hysterically bad fight choreography I've ever seen. Done at full speed, but appears like slo-mo. The absolute unreality of it all had me transfixed. It fell right into the 'so bad it's good' genre, but it set up a sequel. Please, no. This one was enough fun for the decade.

I love how these ravenous flesh eating people have perfect white teeth. The acting in this movie is terrible. I understand it's low budget but still..I wish I didn't spend money to see this. I'm actually still watching it. That's how bad it is. While I'm watching this I looked up reviews to see if other people feel like I do.

Mad Max Fury Road meets Resident Evil in a very well done low budget film. Some of the most realistic fight scenes I've seen. A little thin on dialogue but the simple story does not require much. More fighting than acting and that carries the movie quite well. The lead actress makes the Energizer Bunny look lazy.

As much as I love the games S. T. A. L. K. E. R. And the many Fallouts (not you 76) and what this tries to emulate from those, you can't just make a movie about that. This is almost a little inventory simulator film of sorts, the opening bit is rather interesting I found myself hooked for the first 10 or 15ish.

Nearly no music to speak of and a strange Mad Max/RAGE post apocalypse that's basically nothing and pushed to the side. There's some zombie things that fight in a MMA cage match and it is just the whole middle portion. Acting is a huge miss, you'll see better in Steven Seagal's post-goatee MEGAHITS.

I will say it has some great shots, the use of colour is gorgeous but it is not much else other than a PG hash of Mandy (2018) and Becky (2020.)

I will always give credit where credit is due, hence why I see this as a 3 star .. although that might be generous.

So a few of the actors were actually good, and it appears several of the A FEW of the people behind the scenes knew what they were doing. But everything from the scripts to the scene staging were, well ugh.

I usually avoid commenting on other reviews, but I have to comment on the plethora of comments about how they admit the film has issue, and the fight scenes have major issues, but it was meant to be 'fun', so give the film a high rating??? That makes NO sense. Yes, a movie can be fun AND have high ratings, but you have to get the rest of the things right. And there a lot of good examples out there. Being poorly implemented but having fun so giving it a high rating is what we do for grade schoolers, not adult filmmakers.
