It's a bull s**t love story where choosing your life partner depends on how much bulll***t you can throw of your mouth. And so many big dialogues depicting that nice families, commitment, promises are of no uses. I agree it's a fiction but the way it's misguides current youth towards success is totally idiotic. A baseless story. Don't waste your time in watching. My 5 points are just because i like the acting of actress.

A typically/average telugu masala/romance entertainer. Though the content was very old, watching direct telugu movie of the hero/Naani for the first time was somewhat interesting and few tid bit comedypieces kept somewhat engaged. Fortunately, were able to forward the songs.

Nenu Local (2017): The only actor in recent times who scored a double hat-rick hits is our one and only Nani.While all other stars are facing mixed results,Nani never failed to entertain his audience.From yevade Subramanyam to Gentleman all his movies are entertaining at their best.But his Majnu disappointed me with terrible plot and screenplay.Now he came with Nenu Local,directed by Trinatha Rao who bought us irritating Cinema Chupistha Mama.So except for Nani,I didn't have any expectations on this movie.But its trailer looked promising and music is good.So expectations raised a little best.So how is Nenu Local?Did Nani scored another hit?

Plot: Babu(Nani) is a happy go lucky youth who falls in love with Keerthi(Keerthi Suresh). He starts wooing her and after a lot of effort finally manages to impress her. Right when things seem to be going fine, a huge disturbance erupts in the form of Keerthi's dad (Sachin Khadekar) and inspector Siddharth Varma(Naveen Chandra).Who is this cop? What is Keerthi's dad up to? and how does Babu solve all his problems and ends up marrying Keerthi ? That forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

1)Nani: Nani never disappoints and the same applies in this movie too.He is the main reason for this normal flick to look more entertaining.With his comedy timing and performance,Nani makes many dull moments livelier and his dialogue delivery sure would bring claps. Nani dances are also very good and its the first time for him to do such fast beat steps.

2)Dialogues: Hilarious dialogues played a key role in entertainment.Dialogue writer is successful in writing some brilliant one liners which helped the movie's momentum at lot of scenes.

3)Comedy: Comedy in this movie is very good.Even though some of them are routine,they engages us constantly through most of the time.Unlike his previous movie,director didn't drag any of his comedy scenes.

4)Music: DSP gave some good tunes to this movie.Next Enti is the best song in album.

Minus Points:

1)Story: Nenu Local is nothing but a remix of Idiot+Cinema Chupsitha Mama+Bhale Bhale Magadivoy+Arya etc..

2)Predictable screenplay: We can even guess every scene in the movie in the same order of screenplay.You should just have minimum knowledge on Telugu Cinema.

So,Nenu Local is hilariously entertaining at most parts of the movie because of Nani and dialogues but routine plot and predictable screenplay made this just a one time watch.

Songs are fine of course

The performance of Nani is bad, may be because writing is too bad. Film says bulling a girl is fine but not the hard work people do.

Nani compares Naveen as rich guy in climax, which is not in sync. because Naveen works hard for his love goal, because there is no single scene that Naveen is arrogant with his richness.

Please don't do this Nani

My favourite movie ever💕💕 The acting Nani and Keerthy Suresh is so awesome and incomparable with others and the direction and story is really nice🙂🙂. Especially the music is so heat touching.So I love it💖💖.

Seeing the cast for this film. I expected a good film, the movie is the worst movie ever, the script the direction, the story line everything is just dump.. The film doesn't make any sense from starting till the end.....!! Total Cringe movie...

Nenu Local is completely a Nani's flick as he got chance to showcase his His heroism, dialogue delivery, and mass avatar to the peaks. Right from the word go Nani impressed every one with his Comic timing, even with out any comedian you will be laughing in your seats. But the story has noting new to showcase same old story with few twists. Scenes which come before climax in police station setup will entertain every one to the fullest and cuteness of Keerty Suresh is over loaded in this movie. Cameo of Navin Chandra and Sachin Khedekar are impressive they really done a great job to there roles We need to talk about Rock star DSP his music is the heart of the movie, every song fitted perfectly to the situation and will impress every one. Final verdict: Go watch the movie and refresh your self with two and half hours of complete comedy

Worst movie. This movie gives wrong message to society.

I have been following nani movies cause they are logical i searched all of his movie and watched the best of them after watching Lion king.(I think that was its name in dubbed version). But this movie is disgusting. Forget story the plot was too disgusting imean what are you trying to show by this movie that enjoy life do flirt with girl's and this is why you've been born as human. Can you please differenciate between your human and animals.

Because of showing that any guy who is not able to get a job of only 40000 for his love and can give his life what a logic level of laziness shown in the movie It will make bad impact on our new generation.

Dialogues super... Comedy next level... Action was amazing too... Story was a bit old fashioned but it turned out to be a masterpiece due to the amazing direction... The movie starts with the ending scene and the story then continues in the past... This direction single handedly changed the entire course of the movie... It made it more interesting... People are complaining about the story being simple and predictable... Yeah it was predictable but the way it was carried out made it look outstanding ..... Yeah there was nothing to learn from it... And it gives a bad message to the young audience watching the movie but this movie was made for entertainment purpose only not for educational purpose.... I like this movie very much and I believe that one should watch these kind of movies once in a while.

This is the Worsed south indian movie ever. Nany is overrated actor. his acting is overacting. this movie deserve 1 star only

Nenu Local is incredibly predictable. If not for Nani's comedy timing and skill to keep audiences glued to the seats, the movie would have had nothing much to offer. Set that aside, and it would border on boring. Nenu Local rides on Nani and nothing more.

Just watched Nenu Local again and honestly, it's such a fun ride. Nani absolutely kills it with his natural acting and comic timing - dude just owns the role. His character is that lovable, slightly reckless guy who somehow makes everything work in the end. Classic Nani stuff.

The chemistry between him and Keerthy Suresh is solid, and the romance feels pretty organic for a commercial flick. Plus, the comedy lands really well without trying too hard. I found myself laughing out loud more than a few times.

Music by DSP is a banger too. Some songs are still stuck in my head, especially the title track. Visually it's vibrant, the pacing's tight, and it never really drags.

It's just one of those feel-good movies that you can rewatch without getting bored.

If you're into light-hearted Telugu entertainers with solid performances and a fun vibe, definitely give it a go. No regrets.

8 yrs of Nenu Local Nenu Local Story : Babu gadu (Nani) an engineering student who struggles to pass his exams. His invigilator (Sachin Khedkar) vexed of his shenanigans helps him cheat to pass. Done with his exams he chances upon Keerthi who mistakes him for another and slaps him. It's love at first sight for Babu and the rest of the film is about how he wins love from Keerthi (Keerthy Suresh) and later wins her hand from her father who incidentally is the same invigilator who despises him.

Nenu Local Movie Review : Nani charms you off your feet right from the opening anti-smoking disclaimer in his voice where he says his trademark "Cigarette taagakandi potharu". It doesn't take too long for Nani to convince you that he is Babu - the impulsive youngster, who has but no goal in life. As impractical and dramatic as the movie is, Nani's theatrics are the only thing that is irrationally believable.

Nenu Local has all the tropes of a beaten down love story. The stalking, harassing until a fateful incident that spotlights the hero's heart of gold, leading the heroine to fall for him. The heroine's father being a hindrance, and the hero finally having to prove his worth. It's all there. However, as boring as the film's story is, the screenplay, the treatment has its heart in the right place. And the comedy does get you cracking up quite often.

Characterisations are well rounded considering the loose plotline. While Babu's character doesn't waver from what it is projected as in the beginning, Keerthi, who lets her father take her life's decisions, also sticks to that personality even when she might lose the love of her life over that. Sachin Khedkar who plays Keerthi's father is every worried over-protective father ever and plays it just so. Naveen Chandra too is present in the movie, looking his handsomest. He's the guy who loves Keerthi, wants to marry her and is the blue-eyed boy of her father. But, his character only seems like it was introduced because the film is running out of conflicts to keep the story going. Nani did steal the show as a performer and it only overshadowed the not-so-striking performances of Keerthy and Naveen.

The background music adds to the already overly built up scenes in the film. By the end of the film you won't be able to recall if there was any scene where Nani didn't make an entry in slow motion and thumping BGM. All for a light-hearted love story seems a little much, but it blends into the entire OTT theme of the movie.
