Under the Stadium Lights

I was watching this while doing homework and quite honestly it's not even good as background noise. The mom's Spanish was horrible. They really couldn't get a real Latina to speak a few lines in front of a camera. Any Latina? Just pick one up of the street, they would've done a much better job. The young actors are also just bad. Like they were picked out of all the last set of actors nobody wanted. It was playing on tv and I watched about 45 minutes of it, but I honestly want my money back that I feel I deserve for this even being made. A waste of time for all involved in creating this movie and those who actually watched it. Watching grass grow is more entertaining.

I had no idea what this movie was - my husband picked it out, so I had no preconceived expectations or notions at all.

Let's just say I'm not a huge football fan although I know enough and I can follow the plays. By the end of the movie, I was sitting on the edge of my seat, practically hitting my husband with excitement, as if we were in the stands.

What a pleasure to see teenagers with such beautiful values and morals (and faces and bodies. Oops - did I say that out loud?). And we really appreciated not being bombarded with offensive language.

Gee, they really do still make good movies.

I can't speak for everyone but I actually really enjoyed this movie! There were a lot of great actors, and several scenes really provoked emotion. All in all, I loved it. I think they did a really great job!

Don't waste your time. The story was worth about 15 minutes of footage. It was like the Director went to the cutting room floor and added an hour and a half of footage just so they could call it a movie instead of a trailer. That footage should have stayed on the cutting room floor.

Very good movie. Inspiring for all ages. Especially for a kid that plays sports. Beautiful Story line. Good action and also good acting by some very good actors. I remember the 2009 Abilene High Eagles Team They were the Greatest Team in the State of Texas and also the Greatest Team in the Country. I remember going to their football games and cheering on them to their every Win. That was 2009 and it's 2024 and it's about time Abilene had another State Champion again. It's about time Abilene High School Eagles had another Championship Team for their School. Let's Go Abilene High Eagles!! Let's Win Another State Championship Once Again.
