This movie is a classical romance where you can guess the end and the way of the things before interval. Do not expect anything original or no big surprises.
On the other hand all actors and actresses are above an average and they all fit to the movie. making the movie go smoothly. Although this is classical it does not become boring at any second. The tempo is well adjusted and changes are smooth that does not bother the viewer. Also views from Kadikoy streets are warm and animations are not exaggerated and well-used.
Do not expect a classic that will be remembered 20 years from now on, but if you have 2 hours to spend in a warm nice romantic movie which is well done, this is a great alternative.

This Romance Comedy is funny, silly and clever.
I thought the special effects, though quite low tech, were a fun and humorous addition. (The world crashing down of Mehmet, the stabs in the heart and back for example).
The actors did well with what they had to work with. Yasemin Kay Allen and Irem Sak are really beautiful actresses. And Murat Boz was endearing. He may have exaggerated his part of a depressed man, but that was the point, I think.
There story line was predictable, but it was entertaining anyway.
The biggest turn off for me is the excessive use of alcohol. I understand that it was part of the story, but I found it excessive.
All be it, the movie is a cute one.
