"Pyar usi se karo jise control kar sako, jab pyaar aapko control karne lage toh use barbaad kardo. Uska har nishaan mita do, uska wajood mita do. Uska har ehsaas khatm kar do. Us pyaar ko khatm kar do."
Maya falls in love with her own employee, Arjun. Arjun's childhood friend, Saanjh, already loves him and has plans to propose him. However, with a troubled past and no one who loved her, Maya is firm that she won't leave someone who has loved her after a long time. Slowly, it is understood that Arjun isn't Maya's love but he is Maya's obsession and her obsession is limitless (Beyhadh). She can do anything for him, even kill. Will Arjun be able to escape from Maya's limitless obsession?
I am not a serial watcher. But this serial's promo attracted me towards it. This was definitely something different, I thought. And indeed it was. I guess it was the first psychological thriller serial on TV. It was limitelessly thrilling and beautiful.
The serial is divided in three segments. First segment (Episode 1 to 115) is more of a romantic comedy, second segment (Episode 116 to 245) is a complete thriller, giving you twists after twists, and the third segment (Episode 246 to 273) is more of a family drama including a little thriller.
My most favourite segment was the second one. It gave me thrills and beautiful twists. The only thing which I didn't like about the second segment is that it is completely 100% based on the novel/movie Gone Girl, still they haven't given any credit to the movie nor the novel.
The third segment is my most hated segment as it includes a lot of family drama and the end in dissapointing.
Overall, a great serial which is not typical.

Maya is the everything of this show.
& no one can't portraying this role like Jennifer.
What a talented actress she is..
The attitude, eyes expression, dialogues delivery just rocks..
The plot of maya is potrayed brilliantly but the ending didnt come as wanted
After being tortured her whole life by an evil father and getting a mental illness as a result,I was hoping Maya would find some peace n happiness in the arms of Arjun.I hate that Maya was tagged evil with a dark shadow by Hindu priests when all she actually needed was mental care. The series paints mental patients black,it praises the words and actions of Maya's evil father who didn't want her daughter to find happiness. It encourages meddlesomeness of family and friends in people's marriages or choice of life companions. It promotes negativity.life hasn't been fair to Maya in the movie. Its like she was born to be sad, hated, shunned and to die lonely.I was hoping Ashwin would finally see his daughter happy but would be unable to do nothing about it.I feel she was more of a victim than a villian.I felt very sad for her.All she needed was love from Arjuns family and mental care but rather she received cold reception. She did what many crazy people would do when provoked.I loved it at the beginning but I hated the end.
I am not satisfied with the ending.. But I like Maya's character. She was phenomenal
