Starting from a song named Bangarang by Skrillex. It brought back some good memories in the beginning of the movie ;P The other soundtracks are quite nice too. This movie was better than I thought. I thought it would be a cliche but actually not. Maybe the little boy, David, has done more things in his 20 years than mine. Lenny's dad has made a nice call.

Some days ago I saw the name of Philip Noah Schwarz (Katie Fforde: Wachgeküsst) and the review mentioned the participation of Philip Noah Schwarz in "Dieses bescheuerte Herz" !! I found this film and immediately I enjoyed it.Recently the German directors have made some films about the ommunity service .In "Die Diebin und der General" a young woman who has committed shoflifting must do a community service in a retirement home where she must take care for the grumpiest old man where stays there.In "Der Kotzbrocken" a young mother who hasn't traffic fee must do a community serive in a desability residencialk center where she has to care with a bad tempered man.There is also the story of "Unser Kindermädchen ist ein Millionär" in which Max Helmer , the son of a very rich family doesn't want to study o participate in the family business and his father sends him to work for some weeks as housekeeper in the house of a siingle mother with many children.Now I go back to "Dieses bescheuerte Herz" !!The story is quite interesting: young man living a careless life (in nightclub with friends), a workaholic father who is doctor.Then an incident : the car in the swimming and the father, very angry decides to put the things in order obliging his son to take care for a young adolescent who has a strong heart disease.Then comes the first encounter and little by little the friendship between Lenny and David. It's very good with a good mixture of drama and comedy with a touch of humor .When Lenny asks his father what he will do with the boy, his father recomends him a bucket list and the ideas works very well ( the boy begins really to live the life). The performance of Philip Noah Schwarz and Elyas M'Barek are really great.

The heart is quite the curious ... well muscle or organ or whatever you want to call it (I think medically speaking it is closer to a muscle). If broken it is almost impossible to fix. Although who knows what can be done in the future. Right now we have replacement operations and all that. But this is about a deeper issue, about how we live life - about trying to be a better self, no matter our background.

Now this does sound like this might have quite a few cliches ... and it does start quite badly to be honest. I had a hard time to find something to like - it seemed quite forced upon the viewer. But our "ill" character here lightens the mood enough - all the while he has some outbreaks. But outbreaks that make sense. He is young, he doesn't know better. And than the bonding starts ... with some really good dialog - and some heartwarming scenes - no pun intended.

Yes it is quite predictable in where it will go - but it has its heart on its sleave ... ok enough heart puns. But trust me when I tell you, because I tend to be a bit critical when it comes to german dramas of this kind: this actually hits its mark, after a troubled beginning! So don't turn off at first if you feel the same way ... give it a chance.

The young son of the doctor has a carefree life. He doesn't lack money and doesn't think about his life. He spent time in nightclubs with friends. At the same time, the teenager lives a completely different life, every day he has to medicine and carry around oxygen. He is forced to face many problems and inconveniences due to his illness. These two different people become friends and their world changes.

I accidentally found this movie last night, but today morning I watched it. I still can't believe in another amazing story of friendship and taking care for someone. It reminds me of movie "Intouchables" (2011), so I can already say that who watched that one have to this one too :)

1 hour and 46 minute of happiness. Highly recommended.

This is not a real review, it should be understood more as a collection of impressions on the film.

Some might say that these types of films are easy to attract audiences because it is based on a true story and inside you can see how everyone improves and grows throughout the story, but in my opinion this type of story needs to be told because it truly represents a beautiful and sweet face of cinema and reality. So in my opinion this film must be seen because with great calm and sweetness a story is told which, if told badly, could have been very heavy but is not light and beautiful. In conclusion this is a wonderfull movie.
