A failed attempt at serious storytelling

I watched Kommando 1944 mainly because of Jeff Seid, as I appreciate his work in bodybuilding. Unfortunately, his acting skills leave much to be desired, and the film itself is a mess.

The story tries to be emotional and historically significant but falls flat due to weak performances and poor execution. Instead of feeling impactful, the film comes across as amateurish, with unconvincing dialogue and predictable plot points. It's disappointing to see such an ambitious premise go to waste. If you're looking for a compelling World War II film, there are far better options out there. I would recommend you check out something else.
