Zaira Wasim, who plays the lead role of Insia, continued crying for almost an hour after the 'bucket-breaking' scene (shown in the trailer) was shot. In one of the interviews, she said she never thought she would be able to display such a violent emotion on-screen.
On the first day of the shoot Zaira Wasim was mimicking Mickey Mouse. Everyone around laughed, but Raj Arjun didn't even smile. So, she started going away from him thinking he was a rude man. It just wasn't her, but even crew members kept their distance from him.He maintained such nature on the sets because he didn't want to come out for Farookh's character.
The Airline company shown in the movie is named Azad Air, a reference to Aamir Khan's youngest son, Azad
The film was earlier titled Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai.
