Horrible series. Till the 50th episode the main female protagonist is like 'he doesn't listen to me'. Babe, till 50 episodes you don't give your husband any explanations and you can't get him to listen!!! Good lord. This despite the fact that he ensures that you are in front of his eyes 24*7. Just open your mouth and talk it out loud that this is what is happening. The guy uses his contacts to find out about the girl's bestie but doesn't do the same for her alleged boyfriend or her family. Is this even logical?
The main female character is so drab, like a effing doormat. Constantly under threat and simply fire fighting all the time. And the main male character doesn't get a simple point - money isn't everything, look you can't even buy your own sister's health. He is shown to be super smart, but can't figure out how things which only he and his wife discuss get to the one woman who is trying to bring them down. Hello, house help. He sees her lurking around his doors but nope, no action, no warnings. Everybody is so intrusive in each other's lives.
I found it exceptionally frustrating and I come from the land of Bollywood, where Indian TV soaps show camera panning thrice to capture the facial expressions of characters. Incredibly boring. Hopefully, the makers and the actors actually got a lesson. What a monstrosity!!!

The story started nice with many events going. I liked Omar who is the main male character because he was different from the rest of the main male characters of the writer Nazmiyeh Yilmaz. Although he was firm in his dealings with issues in general, he was always calm even when he becomes nervous and angry. I liked that he never used his loud voice to speak or break things and shout in the face. He has little of expressions on his face but his voice and the way he speaks says it all. He had good self control in difficult times.
Zehra's character is good too, nice , strong and loving daughter who would do everything she can to help her family.
I Liked the show in general and the story was nice. I enjoyed season 1 with all the different characters and season two was nice as well with the addition of new characters such as Sabah and Kerem. Some episodes and scenes could have been shortened or deleted. The endings of some characters could have been better.
They transitioned to season 3 and made a big jump in time with no explanation to where some characters disappeared or where some new ones came from. The story in season 3 is nice and could have been a new series by itself instead.

I have left it at episode 87 .The styling -clothes,hair-is totally out of fashion. There is no chemistry between the main characters. It seems writers and hair stylists didn't like their actor since they made his hair look like a play mobile and everything in their power to present a snobbish, arrogant person. At the first episodes he is abusing with words and behavior his wife ...Too slow
Nice but way way to long and hence many episodes just drag the storyline endlessly where a character will look at another not uttering a word for what seems like 30 minutes straight!
I wish Turkish soaps were as short and fast-paced as Latin American telenovelas. I think Turkish soaps from the 2000s and early 2010s had better writing and dragged less.

I am from India and this is my second Turkish series. First being Adini Feriha Koydum. While AFK was loaded with script, ASK is refreshing in that most of the enacting between protagonists takes places only through eyes and other facial expression. I love how Erkan Merich smiles only through his eyes. A very subtle romance, where even kissing scenes are obscured with candles. Loving the watch... am on episode 37.
