First Indian TV Show With Quality of Hollywood

I feel like I am watching a long Hollywood movie and its still continue.

Its absolute marbles to see TV series of this level on Indian television.

But TRP suggest that Indins are not ready for this type of really good contents. They are meant for stupid dance shows with Judges who him/her self hardly done any good work...

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Superb cast, superb story line, superb direction, superb music. My whole family loves it and just wait for next episode. Goose bumps on everyone in every episode.

1st time in India and better then any serial and any movie.

Hope to see some more series like this.

One of the top quality TV serial i have seen in a long time . Quality at par with major Hollywood TV soaps . The kind of homework done in terms of showing details of various character is incredible . Looks like it has been made in very mature way . Unfortunately it is not garnering high TRPs which clearly shows that Indian audience need to become a lot more understanding and mature about the quality of TV soaps dished out to the

People have not changed their tastes , as evident by low TRP. But this is definitely the best Indian TV Series for years to come. At par with any US or European TV Series. Awesome direction , screenplay , music and sets. Awesome list of actors as well. Emotions bound to flow. 24 and POW , are only 2 Indian TV Serials of recent times , worth watching.

Have watched a lot of English TV series. And as an Indian always wanted to have a series of my country as well of same standard and same acting level.

although this is a copied version, but the way it is directed and the actors have lived the roles. its worth watching.

Frankly speaking, you will regret if you miss to watch this series. Such a brilliant piece of work and story-line. You will be too much involved in that, you can't wait for next episode. This show is full of twist and turn that make you addicted to it.

Actors are too awesome that they have absorbed there character so well. Specially played by Imaan, Sartaj, Siddhant, Vikram, Afreen, Nazneen and many more.

Nikhil Advani has brought a great stuff. Thanks all POW team for making this show so awesome. Just one suggestion, please don't make the story-line slow in between, making us always desperate to see what is next and that too after weekend. There is lot more to say about this show, but I will just end wishing all the best to everyone and please bring more stuffs like that.

this show is a must watch if u have a good taste (not of daily soaps).I have watched many Hollywood series also and certainly it can match them. Awesome direction, acting, background music. Even a single bollywood movie is nowhere close to it. But low TRP shows that viewers still need to evolve

Indian aunties (audience who watches star plus) have no regards for true subtle emotions and basically anything apart from those crap melodramatic soap operas. This show was release on a wrong platform where it wasn't appreciated even a single bit which it should have been. It's a gem that Indian television doesn't deserve. The plot twists the acting the intensity the commitment....its all above the low IQs of Indian TV watchers. They all want the same ridiculous thing that the Indian TV has fed them for decades.

Maybe a platform like Netflix or Amazon prime can elevate the show to a platform where it can be seen by the right audience who really appreciates good quality thillers.

I'm currently watching this show on MX Player.

When I got to know that it was originally telecasted a TV Show on Star Plus, the same channel who's famous for dragging shitty daily saas bahu dramas.

During the first episode itself when the Soldiers met their families I was crying like a baby.

Although I've not watched full show but it's already 10/10.

Bollywood must learn from this series. Really i enjoyed watching this series, and uptill now, this is the best hindi thriller series👍

One of the finest Indian Webseries in recent times. Every aspect of making this Webseries was done with a lot of precision, study and care. Thankfully there were no Big Stars but Actors, and the skills they displayed are at the highest level of excellence and would be engraved in our memory for times to come.

I might want to suggest the so called "Big Stars" of the Film/TV industry, to be student to the Actors/Actress of this Webseries and learn the skills required to become an Actor. Their pride may be the blocker in accepting their inferiority when it comes to acting, but unfortunately thats the truth.

A royal salute to the Author, Director, Producer, Music Director, script writer, and every single individual involved in making this Webseries. Thank you so much for presenting such a wonderful story without a bit of melodrama and unnecessary hazards which otherwise causes severe headaches to the viewers. Thanks for proving that a series doesn't need to run for years with thousands of episodes to prove it's worth.

A good story well presented is the key to become immortal and taken as guidebooks for generation of Director, Writers n Actors. You don't need a multi crore budget film to be etched in human memory for times to come

Last but not least, a Big Thank You to every single Actor/Actress of this Webseries. Thank you for making it look so real. Each and everyone of you have touched our hearts with your superlative performances. YOU ALL ARE THE REAL STARS OF THE ACTING WORLD. KEEP SHINING.

Please don't compare with Homeland series, Homeland series the is best.

Not sure why it should take close to 40 hrs to tell Thai story; 10 hrs should have been enough. Some parts are a big drag and repetitive like Shaira's issues with her father...irritating as well; and Sartaj's struggle with PTSD.

It has 110 episodes, and I have great deal of patience but I am not an emotional fool.

It has slow-motion drama, nostalgic-scene-repetition drama, appeasement drama, ganga-jamuna-tahzeeb drama, musical-drama, and still the genre is "thriller".

Ideas which the director seems to have completely missed... "Friendship/relationship should always be based upon mutual respect", AND "if you don't respect yourself, nobody else can".

Best of the best. I have never experience like this before on Indian television. Great story, awesome songs with soulful music, masterclass actors, brilliant direction. 10 on 10 for everything. I hope a second season will be in the mind of Nikhil Advani.

Although the series takes some concept from Hollywood series but it is adjusted according to Indian society ideals. It is a shame that such a good series was released in 2017 and most people barely got to knew about it, I recently started seeing on MX Player. Definitely binge worthy.

Full of thrill and shows the hardships faced by both the families of Prisoners of War and these prisoners as well. Too sad to see that this show is not available on Hotstar anymore..😔

Thank you team POW for making such a wonderful series with great cast, direction, story-line, details etc. Used to be glued to the television for all this time. Finally a good serial to watch. And just like the English saying "All good things come to an end"...this series has come to an end. Well...rest all serials are crap with nothing in it...and hence they don't end and continue for generations. The other producers and directors have to learn a lot from POW. Great work Guys. Loved every second of it!!

Best Indian TV show ever. Its thrilling , its emotional and very precisely shows the difficulties of a Prisoner of War. Its very different from the typical Indian TV shows. This kept me totally hooked and I finished the whole series in 3 days. This one is a must watch.

Till now I've watched all the 90 episodes, the character's and the way everyone has acted is just too good as it keeps you hooked on. There are so many twists and turns and I would specially mentione the characters of Iman, Sartaj, Nazneen, Harleen who have done exceptionally well along with, Siddhant, Vikram Singh etc it's been an amazing web series to watch and the effort that has been put by the whole team is commendable.

It's based on original Israeli drama Hatufim, written by Gideon Raff, the Indian version does the full justice to the incredibly good storyline.

This series was adapted in US with the name of. Homeland, but some contexts of more highlighted compared to other.

The Indian version is much closer to the original version, even as per Raff who completely bl owned away after watching it.

May be because the backbone of original series and Indian version is same, an enemy country who 24x7 conspire to destabilize the homeland.

Since it streaming in mxplayer, yes, unexpected but thanks a ton to mxplayer for bringing it out.

The story line is grippling from first episode itself.

Till today 90 episodes are out and it's still going on. Yes, thats the longest episodes of any series I have watched and i wait for next episodes to come. That's commendable job to make it so long without loosing the interest. There are 110 episodes I think, with 20 more to go, hopefully it will unfold very well.

The middle of episodes were a bit stretch but as after 42 it gain the pace again.

Must watch series..

One of the best series or serials i have ever watched. Every character in this series is mindblowing. This is full of Suspense, emotions and thrillers. Loved so much.

I loved watching the series amazing series . I was watching the show and got a news of helicopter crash of Ajit Doval sir . It was another impact on me watching the show . Hats off to makers ,writer and all cast and crew .
