The photographer Eugene (Peter Flaherty) is perfectly cast. He does a good job as pervy, creepy kind of guy with his fetishes.
Black and white can be a good medium in many films (Schindler's List as prime example), but in this movie, I think not. It did not appeal to me as a "feature" of the film.
WARNING - there is a rape scene....
Overall, I found the movie disturbing and it seemed to fall flat in telling the story completely... seemed to leave a lot of moments that were incomplete.
I think only a certain type of audience would watch this movie and appreciate it. Myself, I did not.

Cringworthy acting. None of the characters were likable. The story and the decisions made by the characters are illogical.
But the B/W cinematography was decent. Unfortunately, the film in whole fails for me.

Complete and utter garbage. Unwatchable garbage. Why is it black and white. Oh does that make it an art film. Yeah right. I don't think Australia should make movies. They're always garbage.
This movie leads you to believe it's about a man trying to free a 15 year old prostitute.
But is a poorly disguised wet dream put to film for rock spiders.
