Extraordinary

The movie was fantastic! I enjoyed every moment. Even though David thought he is being called to embark on the marathon, breaking the heart of his wife I'm glad at the end where he realizes the pain his family endures when he has these huge marathons and decides he won't put them through it again. I loved the part where the adventure which he encountered when he met Sergei, it exploratory. And when he would send the things he encountered while running.i also love how the way he treated his students it is so sweet! And the fact that his students were changed by his actions especially the running events be it with them or alone embarking the marathon.

Oh Kirk. Oh Kirk. Oh Kirk. My love for you grows stronger with every step closer I take to my fiery eternal fate. The heat of a thousand lakes of fire cannot compare to the heat of my love which burns for you. Only as I stand in your divine judgement do I feel like even half a man. This movie is perfection. Rocky, Rudy, Cinderella Man.... none of them had an ounce of the heart contained in five minutes of this cinematic masterpiece. Kirk makes me believe that if he wins that final race he wins his place in eternity where he can finally look down on us all with every bit of his disdain for us and our heathen, hedonistic lives. Oh Kirk! You're no Ricky Schroeder but you'll do just fine!

After watching Extraordinary the only conclusion I could come to is if God wants you to ruin your knees than you do it.

At least that's what popular Professor Leland Klassen feels. He's a marathon runner and incorporates the running into his teaching. The docs tell him his time may be coming to an end because his knees are going.

But there's a big cross country marathon coming up and he has to do this for Jesus and for Liberty Baptist University where he teaches. Even wife Shari Rigby is opposed.

Call me cynical, but I doubt the Deity wants you to cripple yourself . This was just off the wall.

The Liberty Baptist Film School put this one together. It's a commercial for the Falwell family school.

Pass it by.

I am not sure why this has such a low rating. It was a great story and a true story. I would love to look into this guy's running class. He saved lives, physically and spiritually. Please do not let the rating keep you from at least giving this a chance.

This was a great movie! It's not perfect acting (but not bad either), it's definitely an uplifting moving that's not deserving of a low rating. My guess is that many non-believers saw this movie not knowing it was a Christian movie and decided to give it a mean review.

My husband and I enjoyed watching this movie and were very happy with the story, Christian inspirations, and the fact that it was either inspired or based on a true story.
