Good Enough

The story of a time traveller's wife isn't something new. And yet, this drama manages to keep the interest high throughout the sixteen episodes. The drama starts kind of odd, with the guy meeting with the girl, and saving her from an accident. We then discover slowly his secret and her past. Sure, they get married very quickly, so if you're looking for a slow built romance, maybe this one isn't for you. The drama focuses more on the mysteries of the future, on the bad guy in the office and on trying to figure out how to change one's fate. The performances, moreover, were really good and the side stories, even though they were few and had only a few minutes airing time, were cute and entertaining. So, 8 out of 10, only because some things were left unexplained, but the twist in the end was amazing.

Better than the reviews

I admit this dram isn't legendary but it certainly is very enjoyable and suspenseful. It's a fun storyline and the main characters are great actors! If you're looking for an easy yet enticing drama I highly recommend

✒Is Tomorrow 🚆 Another Day After all? °VG° 💯%🔎

Lay It On The🚇Line Time After Time...

While it could have been a lot better, I would still say hop on the train and give TWY a ride. True, the ending wasn't that difficult to figure out. Despite that, the director still manages to set the tone with tension being a focal point. The pressure continues to gear up until the very end.

The characters are likable. Ma-rin's pain was framed explicitly: Actress, Shin Mi-na, is superb. All the actors did a solid job. The side vignettes are all enjoyable. Lee Jeong-Eun has such luminosity: She is one of my favs. She shines once again as Mar-in's mother. (Check her out in Oh My Ghost-10; odd title, amazing show - Some of her scenes are astonishing. Her portfolio has impressive depth of field and is jammed with highly rated shows and movies). In addition, the villain's storyline worked well enough. The actor delivered a tangible portrayal of his descent from a respectable businessman-to-muderer with unfiltered evil saturation. Yes, he was originally a little crooked, but that wasn't in anybody's viewfinder.

Kdramas often show individuals who experience a marked character arc. Often these persons have a skewed aspect-ratio, and are initially wince generating in bursts of nervous awkwardness. Since these dramas mostly have double digit episodes, the characters may not start to improve for several of them. Patience pays when one is watching Asian entertainment. From that angle, their culture is superior to ours in the 🇺🇸. The directors take time to build up (or distort) who the individual is and then put the focus on slowly developing protags from black-and-white to full RBG color.

Ma-rin is like this. Her over-exposed childhood kept her adult self shuttered in a darkroom. She had become so insecure that it was actually challenging to watch her in the first few episodes. The audience will long for her resolve to progress from dull to glossy. ML, So-Joon, while clearly good-hearted, is also a portrait of immaturity and laziness in the beginning episodes. He's in need of some editing himself. The two leads initially display a lack of chemistry which stalls full development of their relationship. It seems that So-Joon is using Ma-rin; his motives are blurry. He is an enigma, always with a matte look on his face. The director deliberately injected acidity and unease into their interactions so that we can yearn for their love to flourish. Concern for Ma-rin will continue to grow.

Ultimately, this story is charming. It progresses from cold tones of indifference and hesitation to warmth. We glimpse a sense of optimism, amongst the tension, that things will develop further. Forward on, we ride➡

Time travel is one of my jams. These stories capture the imagination like nothing else, but logically, it's easy to encounter under-exposed plot points. TWY is not without those. The gaps in TWY are moderate to glaring. It could have easily been better. It's frustrating, actually. It's also understandable. For plot development of a time travel tale like this, there must be a collection of miscommunications and a catalog of flawed judgments. If they had each just opened their apertures a little wider it would have been a panacea. Then the show would have wrapped up by ep8. The optics regarding time travel suffer distortion. In some scenes the future is pictured just as So-Joon observed from the past. Seemingly, the message is that the future is set and laminated. In other scenes, though, that doesn't seem to be the case. For a fantasy show to be great, they Must. Draft. The. Rules. And. Stick. To. Them.

The very end displays a small snapshot of their lives 3 years hence. It's from an unflattering perspective, and it should have been deleted. Kdramas, too often, incorporate cross-processed, photo-bombed endings that must be overlooked if the show is to be enjoyed. Photographers use the term "Artifact", which is an element that diminishes the quality of an image. The snapshot of their future contains artifact that's best dropped in the wastebin.

Finally, as another reviewer deftly put it: 'It took 16 hours to learn to not run into a busy road.' The characters do things that are bothersome. While the flaws are more than minimal, the good truly does outweigh the bad. If romance is your thing, especially if romance and time travel are among your interests, than TWY should go on your watchlist. It may not be picture-perfect, nevertheless, there is beauty to behold as time goes by.

I also did a spoiler review.

IMHO...

Absolutely amazing

I started this series not expecting that much, but boy was I wrong. It will take you from one extreme to the other, most of the series you will ask ''Why can't they just say something'' . Just like in real life, people always want to protect their loved ones. The acting was solid and the story was pretty good as well, although it is filled with a lot of cliffhangers. Overall it is a great rush and at the end you get a feeling of wellness. I recommend this series 10 out of 10.

Watch and enjoy

I'm glad I watched this. Ma Rin was so relatable in every way. She was plain and just normal. But in a heart-warming way. I could get her. And seo joon was protective and kind.I could understand his confusion, his worries and affections. . The story was well paced. The theme music was really perfect. It's really simple but yet it talks to you. It makes you feel something. I don't know how to put it. it may sound strange but this drama feels like very early in the morning.

The cast carries the story.

It has some slow patches and occasionally sketchy plotting, but I stayed with it because I love the talented, adorable leads, and several in the supporting cast. Though it took me a while to get through the series, I enjoyed it.

Great chemistry tho

Both of the characters of the leads here were immature especially Song Ma Rin. For those people who are planning to watch this, please be informed that Song Ma Rin (Shin Min Ah) here is clumsy, so if you hate sorts of leads, just kindly drop this one. Personally I prefer this kind of plot so I kinda enjoyed it. The chemistry between them was good enough for you to watch it. I just gave this a 8 stars because of the pettiness of the antagonist, his reasons are junk, and also because sometimes I got confused with the drama itself plus I don't like the cinematography and because of the script, I think, it wasn't well written at all. Well the acting skills of both the leads was so good too, this drama did convinced me to gave them a high rate because of the fact that they didn't left me any questions about the entire drama. There isn't much ost here but I learned that Seo In Guk was the singer of its ost. All in all, I finished this with less than 2 weeks so I concluded that this is good enough to recommend to someone who doesn't have a high standards and expectations.

This didn't made me cry nor made me nervous but it surely did moved me. It was a touching story especially on the part that So Joon wished that instead of time travelling (tho he loves his ability and treated it as a blessing) he just hoped that he can freeze the time when he started to like Ma Rin. I can't describe the love between the two. They love each other more than anything.

The last 3 episode doesn't gave me the satisfaction. This fell a little short.

Ps: LEE JE HOON and SHIN MIN AH being a MARRIED COUPLE is a MUST.

8.6/10.

Definitely worth watching

Listen, this is worth watching just for Shin Min-a and Lee Je-hoon. It's a beautiful love story and, yes, it has a a few plot holes but I was interested to the last frame. It'd probably rate it 8.5 actually! Nice support cast!

Mediocre

I am a KDrama fan, but for me this one misses the mark. Leads are good actors, but she is always the same in every performance: an adorable gamin, but no depth. He is a good actor, but no charisma. Writing really is a repetitive plot and quickly boring. Everyone worked hard but in a wheel-spinning drama.

Cute Love Story

First off, I'm a huge fan of Lee Jehoon. This is the second series I have watched with him and his acting is nothing less than amazing. This was a very cute love story. The main actresses character got on my nerves a few times but other than that, I could watch it again. I cried once in the last episode. The mother is funny. I enjoyed her in another series too. Some of there couples montages were cringy but I got through them. A recommended watch if ur looking for a good love story.

Intricate details

I like how the present, past and future stories are coherently organized overall. Usually when there is a time-loop story it was crazy and hard to follow or the repeated scenes are annoying when they have to go back in time and do things all over again. But the story did not offer that much and the ending was something expected.

Give me rice

A young businessman is successful due to his ability to travel through time up to two years in the future. He falls in love with a photographer with links to his past and tries to change both their fates. It is an entertaining story and is well acted and the romance side is very believable. The fact that it has Shin Min-a as the photographer is a bonus as I think she is such an outstanding actress who brings a warmth to all her roles.

Good show but slow

I really liked the show but it felt like 50 episodes instead of 16. Every time you think the conflict is finally resolved, something changes and the plot is dragged on. Still, I liked it.

BRAVO! I loved it

Pleasantly surprised. It has everything you could want in a show. Intrigue, drama, action, comedy, romance. This made it to my favorite K-Drama list. Top 5 for me. Wonderful story and GREAT LOVE SCENES. Found this one by chance and was hooked. The ML was excellent and I was wowed by his performance. Will definitely check him out in other projects. He had me crying with him. The FL has been in a couple I've watched and her performance was predictable but I felt her emotions. If I had to compare it to something it would be Destined with You, King the Land, Doom At Your Service, One Spring Night. Much better than My Demon,IMO.
