Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 is off to a decent start; however, the fifth part of one of the most loved comedy franchises of Hindi Cinema has failed to register any ground-breaking numbers with the pre-sales, which hint at not-so-roaring opening numbers on cards!

Akshay Kumar Fails To Enter Top 10

Akshay Kumar has failed to enter the top 10 pre-sales recorded by Hindi films on Bms, ever since the tracking on the BookMyShow app started from 2023. The tenth spot is claimed by Salman Khan’s Sikandar with 281.21K sold tickets!

Housefull 5 Bms Ticket Pre-Sales

Housefull 5 has registered a Bms ticket pre-sale of 185K before the opening day. This ticket sales on Bms in advance is the third highest ticket sales for a Hindi film in 2025 after Chhaava’s 777K and Sikandar’s 281.21K.

The 12 Best Crying Scenes In Movies, Ranked
Image
Crying, one of the most primal expressions of emotion, translates across language and culture, often bringing viewers themselves to tears. But not all movie crying is created equal. Tears don't automatically make a great movie scene; the combination of acting, directing, and writing does.

It's difficult to properly calibrate the intensity of a crying scene. Should the actor be full-on sobbing or ugly crying a lá Tobey Maguire in the "Spider-Man" films? Should the tears look elegant and composed, like Cher's beautiful tears at the opera in "Moonstruck"? The audience has to believe that the character's circumstances are worth crying over and that their tears are genuine, lest they laugh instead of feeling empathetic.

The best cinematic crying scenes require actors to showcase their acting chops while also adding depth to the character and the story. When done well, tearful moments wordlessly let the viewer in on a character's true feelings.

Breaking Bad: How Bryan Cranston’s Walter White Changed The Way We Root For Onscreen Villains
Image
Here’s How Breaking Bad May Have Altered How We Look At TV Villains!(Photo Credit –Facebook)

When Breaking Bad premiered in 2008, it didn’t just introduce Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston). It flipped the entire TV antihero formula on its head. This wasn’t just another fall-from-grace story. It was a slow, surgical dissection of morality. And the twist? It dared you to root for the villain every step of the way.

From the jump, Walt seemed like the guy you’d root for. A high school chemistry teacher, underpaid, overqualified, and diagnosed with terminal cancer — how could you not feel for him? He said he was cooking meth for his family. But as the story unfolded, it became clear: the empire he built wasn’t about love. It was about ego.

When Walter White Said It Was For Family… Was It Ever Really True?

The line “What...

Let’s face it: the MCU has been flailing for years now. Since the turn of the decade, fans and critics alike have not been kind to Marvel, with everything that the universe had in store failing to pack the punch it once did.

It doesn’t come as a shock that the MCU had to pull out some desperate moves. Even Rdj’s reintroduction can be dubbed as nothing short of the same (not that anyone would have any complaints). And it seems like they have another move to provide a story fans love some much-needed impetus.

Did Taylor Swift Make A Cameo In The Handmaid's Tale?
Image
Did Taylor Swift make a cameo in "The Handmaid's Tale?" Probably not, but showrunner Bruce Miller is teasing her massive legion of fans anyway by saying "maybe."

In an interview with Variety after the show — which adapted its first season from Margaret Atwood's acclaimed sci-fi book of the same name and then spent the following five seasons continuing the story past its original endpoint — concluded, Jennifer Maas straight-up asked Miller if Swift appeared on the series in "Execution," the second-to-last episode of the show that aired on May 20, 2025. Why did she ask this? Well, as the world waits for Swift's final two re-recorded albums to drop ("reputation" and "Taylor Swift" are the only two of her first six albums that she hasn't released as "Taylor's Version" after her original masters were sold to her archenemy Scooter Braun), "The Handmaid's Tale" scored an enormous coup when Swift and her shrewd...

They gave no concrete answers, but Thomsen pointed to Will's strong relationship with her, and how now would be an awful time to lose her. Given that his former paramour is in love with another man and he just met his biological father for the first time,...

Will Trent EPs Unpack the Finale, Will and Angie’s Relationship and Tease Season 4

The Will Trent Season 3 finale was action-packed, leaving Amanda Wagner and Michael Ormewood’s lives in jeopardy.

That affected the entire team, especially Will, who finally admitted how much Amanda meant to him.

TV Fanatic enjoyed chatting with the Will Trent showrunners and EPs Liz Heldens and Daniel Thomsen about why they revisited Will’s paternity, Amanda and Will’s relationship, and what’s next for the team.

(Wilford Harewood/ Disney)

So, the finale was action-packed. Did you always plan to revisit Will’s paternity, and what was the purpose of changing it nearly two years later?

Daniel Thomsen: Yes, we wanted to do that. We’ve been very interested in answering the question of who Will’s father is. I wanted to ensure that we gave enough space from the story of Will’s mother.

I Can’t Hate NBC Exec’s 3 Reasons Why Suits: LA Was Canceled After 39% Rt Rating For Gabriel Macht’s Spin Off
Image
After all the hype NBC built around a Suits spinoff, the network decided to cancel Suits: LA after its first season. As the network announced its fall schedule, it was clear that execs had to make some major sacrifices to make room for the NBA season. While shows like Found, The Irrational, Lopez vs. Lopez, and Night Court also received the axe, I was not expecting Suits: LA‘s scrapping.

Honestly, the show failed to take advantage of the popularity of its prequel show, starring Gabriel Macht. While I expected something similar in tone to Suits, the LA version failed to make a case for itself. NBC president of program planning strategy came on record to explain why the spinoff wasn’t getting a second season.

Liam Payne’s $32 Million Estate To Go Entirely To Son Bear After Singer Dies Without Will; Girlfriend & Ex-Wife Get 0
Image
Liam Payne‘s death in October 2024 at 31 left behind a substantial estate valued at approximately £24 million ($32.2 million). The former One Direction star died without a will, leaving his entire estate in a trust for his 8-year-old son, Bear, whom he shared with ex-partner Cheryl.

Payne fell to his death from his balcony at a Buenos Aires hotel, leading to a gruesome scene. Several of his friends and members of the hotel staff have been charged with supplying him with the drugs he took that day.

Under UK intestacy laws, when an individual dies without a will and is unmarried, their estate typically passes to their children. In this case, Bear is the sole heir. Cheryl, as Bear’s mother and legal guardian, has been appointed as one of the administrators of Payne’s estate, alongside music industry lawyer Richard Mark Bray.

At the time of his death, Liam Payne was...

‘Clown in a Cornfield’ Review – A Lean, Mean Teen Slasher
Image
The adaptation of author Adam Cesare’s Clown in a Cornfield recreates what makes the young adult novel and its subsequent sequels so special: it speaks to a younger generation about the frustrating generational divide while never sacrificing the horror. This slasher movie knows the best way to a budding horror fan’s heart is through gratuitous violence, cheer-worthy kills, and a batch of root-worthy characters that lament the frustrations that come from being disregarded by adults. Tucker and Dale vs. Evil director Eli Craig tackles the mostly faithful adaptation with aplomb, bringing the right balance of gore and comedy for a zippy, lean slasher.

Bypassing the novel’s cold open with something of a more traditional slasher opener, Clown in a Cornfield introduces protagonist Quinn Maybrook (Katie Douglas) and her dad, Dr. Glenn Maybrook (Aaron Abrams), as they arrive in their new hometown of Kettle Springs. It’s a...

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Should Be Headed for Cancellation Instead of a Revamp
Image
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 was lacking in every department.

It was almost a recap of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, without being able to mention Morgan Wade’s name.

It did feature the addition of Bozoma Saint John, which was a welcome distraction from some of the more tedious storylines.

(Bravo/Screenshot)

Kyle Richards’ marriage continued to crumble, and Dorit Kemsley’s split from Pk became her entire storyline, which didn’t seem to faze Sutton Stracke.

Even the reunion didn’t provide juicy revelations. The closest we got was Garcelle Beauvais finally realizing Sutton wasn’t who she thought she was, and the letter Pk sent in to have Andy Cohen read instead of him attending the taping.

Rumors are churning, suggesting a revamp is necessary — but it’s not. A complete overhaul couldn’t save this franchise.

We Were Liars Trailer Teases a Summer of Secrets and Sinclair Scandals
Image
Prime Video has unveiled the teaser trailer for We Were Liars, the upcoming mystery thriller based on E. Lockhart’s hauntingly addictive best-selling novel.

All eight episodes drop June 18, 2025 — and while the binge model may satisfy the impatient, we’re already mourning the weekly ride this story could have offered.

Set on a sun-drenched private island off the coast of New England, We Were Liars centers on Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind) and her privileged, picture-perfect family, the Sinclairs.

Emily Alyn Lind, Esther McGregor, Joseph Zada, Shubham Maheshwari (Jessie Redmond/Prime)

Every summer, Cadence and her close-knit group of cousins and friends — known as “the Liars” (Not to be confused with the Pretty Little version) — gather on the island, where youthful rebellion meets old-money tradition.

But beneath the shimmering surface of wealth and closeness, something sinister lingers.

After a mysterious accident leaves Cadence with memory gaps and gnawing suspicion,...

CBS Made a Terrible Mistake Canceling The Challenge USA After Stellar Season 2
Image
CBS made a critical error canceling The Challenge USA spinoff, which merged the reality TV worlds of CBS and MTV.

Season 2 further expanded upon this, as some of The Challenge’s most memorable and entertaining stars entered the fray, immediately battling to survive amongst CBS personalities.

Despite having the likes of Johnny Bananas, Wes Bergmann, and Amanda Garcia mixed in with stars from Amazing Race, Big Brother, and Survivor, USA ended after that second season.

The Challenge USA needed to continue, as we believe there was much more life left in this spinoff concept that fans would’ve loved to see.

Would A Show Like The Twilight Zone Work In Today’s Politically Divided World?
Image
The Twilight Zone is a classic for many reasons, one of which is that Rod Serling was a genius at hiding social messaging in sci-fi and fantasy stories.

When the anthology series began, Serling had discovered that themes such as the danger of scapegoating and the importance of standing up to authority weren’t welcome if he wrote about them directly, but if he told allegories about people in other worlds or other times, he got a different reception.

Could the The Twilight Zone work today? I’d like to think so, but the world is so politically divided that it’s hard to say with any certainty.

(Screenshot/CBS) How The Twilight Zone Used Science Fiction For Social Messaging

The Twilight Zone was one of the first anthology series — arguably, American Horror Story and similar shows wouldn’t exist without the Twilight Zone doing it first.

However, this series...

I didn’t expect an episode of The Handmaid’s Tale to punch me in the chest the way this one did. Not today.

Not when I’m reckoning with the fact that I’ve been slowly killing myself — little choices, small dismissals of needs, brushing off symptoms, waving off signs. Not when I’m crawling out of that fog and realizing that I’m not fine. Not even close.

And then this episode airs.

Network Scripted TV Scorecard 2025: What’s Renewed, Canceled and Still in Limbo
Image
After a rough few years in the broadcast landscape, the 2024-25 season has brought in some rays of hope.

To be sure, the long-term structural challenges for network TV remain in a world where streaming is the default platform for the largest share of viewers and ongoing corporate consolidation continues to shrink the number of potential suppliers (and buyers) of shows. But several network shows have achieved breakout status in the past year, and each of the big four broadcasters (ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC) can claim at least one success story among their crop of first-year series. The fact that networks are also the primary suppliers of the long-running, deep-library shows that keep streaming services humming also seems to have sunk in across the industry.

About that corporate consolidation: The past year has continued the trend of media company reorganization. Both Paramount and Disney closed studios (Paramount TV Studios...

Duffer Brothers Admitted Fan Favorite ‘Stranger Things’ Character Was the “Least Interesting” That I’m Glad They Didn’t Cut Out
Image
When you think of some of the least interesting characters to become fan favorites in Stranger Things, it’s hard to imagine Sean Astin’s Bob Newby. And it’s quite surprising that while we, as fans, did not come to this conclusion, the renowned Duffer Brothers initially had little expectation for the character.

The creators of the series have previously revealed their initial beliefs surrounding the character and how it was Astin’s performance that ultimately brought the character to life, making him not only memorable but legendary in the Stranger Things universe.
