Movie reviews A Aa Rating 2.5/5 The story is Too Old 👵 like a granny narrating same story every night.. The concept is not impressive.. Hero acting 🎭 is just OK.. Samantha looks good and acting 🎭 is superb.. Co stars ✨ have acted well.. Dialogues in the cinema 🎦 is Good... Camera work OK.. Music is just OK except the catchy Govinda Gopala song.. Climax comedy was something good in the entire cinema 🎦... Dragging of story like a kid chewing the gum whole day... Overall a movie 🎥 which is not so good and can be watched only once.. Personal Touch I don't know why, I can see almost in every scene, the background is decorated by pumpkins 🎃.. I guess the director is in love with pumpkin 🎃 than the movie 🎥... Boring 💤 most of the time and comedy sometimes in between.. Got a feeling somehow I saw the movie 🎥.. Watched this movie 🎥 specially for my beauty Sam💃 💞 and happy to see her in movie 🎥, she had lot to act 🎭 in this movie 🎥, takes majority of the role and given her best.. 2 stars ✨ for the cinema 🎦. .5 star 🌟 for beauty Samantha.. #AAa #TeluguMovie #AnuReviews
Movie is good in terms of cinematography and Nithin has done an awesome performance.
The storyline of the movie was very simple and sort of predictable. The locations of the movie are great and well presented on screen. Songs were also good.
The things I did not like were: Satisfactory Screenplay, worst execution of Action Scenes, some illogical scenes.Love Chemistry between Samantha and Nitin could have been slightly better as we don't feel that much love Feeling from them .
But overall it's a fun movie to watch but not as good as FIDAA, SAMMOHANAM.
Ratings:6/10.
Trivikram expressed the movie in the best possible way.His magic of words goes uninterrupted until the climax. It's devoid of most routine commercial aspects such as item song, entry song, fights to elevate hero. One can't stop laughing in the movie but that does not mean that the movie is just a comedy. The music is a perfect fit, one would start loving the songs after seeing the movie. I never thought Samantha had this much in her, hats-off to her and Trivikram sir for brining that out. Nithin did more than justice to his role as expected. All in all it's definitely worth watching. Whether Trivikram's fan or not? ONE would leave the theater fully satisfied..
A AA (2016): If its time for Trivikram movie, everyone gets ready for his dialogues more than his making. He is one of the best dialogue writers in Tollywood and even has good skills in directing family oriented movie. Now he is back with A AA with which is another family movie. How is this Anasuya Ramalingam vs Anand Vihari.
Plot: Anand Vihari (Nithin) works as caterer cum chef in Hyderabad. He belongs to middle-class family and has many responsibilities to fulfill like marrying off his sister (Ananya) and clearing off debts.
On the other hand, Anasuya Ramalingam (Samantha) is daughter of rich and strict mother (Nadiya). When her mother goes on a business trip, her father sends to her Kalavapudi village near Vijayawada to spend some time at Anand Vihari's home.
Anand Vihari happens to be her baava but she doesn't know about his family till she is sent there. While she happily discovers the joy of being at her aunt's house, she also comes to know why her aunt's family and her mother are not on talking terms. Rest of the movie drama is all about how Anand Vihari achieves all the hurdles to get married to Anasuya.
Plus Points: 1)Samantha Samantha Samantha Samantha Samantha: She is the major plus point of the movie.OMG her cute expressions, her novelty, her maturity in performance made me proud to be her die-hard fan.I can clearly say that she is going to disturb our sleeps again.Love you Samantha.
2)First half: First half of the movie is entertaining with good comedy and lighthearted moments. We can thoroughly enjoy it without getting bored.
3)BGM: BGM gave good soul for the scenes. It really helped a lot for giving movie a rise in every scene.
4)Dialogues: Movie has good Trivikram mark dialogues and those who are his hardcore fans for dialogues will definitely get nice fest.
Minus Points: 1)Second half: Movie's second half seems lost with bit dragging screenplay.Few scenes seem lengthy.
2)Duration: Movie has lengthy duration of 2hr 32 min.Especially in second half of movie seems more lengthy.
So, A AA is definitely a feast for Samantha fans and I can watch this movie any number of times only for her.
My rating 6.5/10

Synopsis: Why isn't Anu's mom repentant? Why is Nagavalli (Anupama Parameswaran) reduced to a caricature? What happened to the ferocity of Pallam Venkanna (Rao Ramesh) and well, didn't we deserve a better ending?
Movie Review: There's There's a really interesting dialogue by Rao Ramesh in A... Aa: "Road widening lo sagam kottesina building la undi paristiti... Undadaaniki veelu kadhu. Vadaladaniki manasu raadu," he says. Why interesting? Because it perfectly sums up how you feel about the film after watching it! Because Trivikram takes you on this ride which will leave you with mixed emotions making you both like it for its simplicity and freshness and dislike it for not being told well enough.
If you've watched Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala's Meena (1979), then A... Aa will be a story you know, albeit with a modern take. The adaptation of Yeddanapudi's novel of the same name, the film had the story of a rich, city-bred girl who is wants to break free unable to bear her overpowering mother. She falls for her bava when she happens to go on a trip to his village but that's when trouble begins because their families have long running differences.
Well, Trivikram really gives this modern take an edge of its own and sets it apart from both the book and the earlier film. In fact, the contemporary take of the adaptation is done extremely well by And rehashing that tale, Trivikram takes us into the lives of Anasuya Ramalingam (A - Samantha) and Aanand Vihari (Aa - Nithiin) and of course, their families. And in terms of adaptation to suit the present times, the director does a fabulous job weaving in new characters and giving the old characters a new spin. In fact, despite being a very old story, he makes it feel extremely new and the first half of the film is a treat to watch.
He is called the matala mantrikudu for a reason and enthuses us with some quirky one liners, the best being mouthed by Rao Ramesh. But there's one that Nithiin says which did get quite a few whistles: "Watch unna prativadu time ostundanukuntadu... Kani chuskuntadante." Cool, eh? And his narrative and writing are aided by Mickey J Meyer's music which is refreshing and the camerawork of Natarajan and Dudley who give the film a visual splendour.
He brings in the likes of Naresh (makes us wonder why anyone doesn't give him more to do!), Rao Ramesh (does his brilliance need an explanation?) and Anupama Parameswaran (she's vivacious despite the patchy character sketch) who stand out from the rest.
But then, there's a downside for this film too. Somehow, the chemistry between Nithiin and Samantha doesn't really work. Both of them individually do a great job, especially Nithiin who has given his best ever performance, but as a pair there's an evident awkwardness which is sad considering the film's prime plot is their love story. But that's probably because Trivikram doesn't really establish how and why they fall for each other. You even wonder if he is actually in love with her or is just plotting revenge from her mother.
Otherwise, it's not like A... Aa is perfect because it has its own little niggles. The countryside is reduced into something unreal with excessive graphics and the flavour of the village doesn't really hit the viewer. Trivikram takes his own pace in narrating the second half, so much so, it becomes tedious and then, all of a sudden, he hurriedly ends the film making you wonder what just happened. And just as the end titles roll, you are getting up from your seat with so many doubts in mind - Why isn't Anu's mom repentant? Why is Nagavalli (Anupama Parameswaran) reduced to a caricature? What happened to the ferocity of Pallam Venkanna (Rao Ramesh) and well, didn't we deserve a better ending?
