Filming for the movie took only 1 month from October to November 2015, and both actors Hirose Suzu and Yamazaki Kento begun practicing playing the violin and piano respectively 6 months, almost half of the year prior to start filming. The result of the practice were evident on the final cut of the movie, which both actors were able to capture the magnificent movements and emotion of actually playing the instruments. As Hirose and Yamazaki (as Arima and Kaori) real performed on stage Camille Saint-Saens' Introduction and Rondo Cappricioso".
In the scene where Arima accepts Kaori's request to be her accompanist, he was reading the music sheet then Kaori come along and holds his necktie and accidentally hit her head to him outside the recital room. When they get inside the recital room, Kento has no necktie yet there is no clip showing that he/she remove .
